The AtlasIED BlueBridge 8x16 DSP Audio Processorfrom AtlasIED BlueBridge 8x16 DSP Audio Processoris a platform designed for sound reinforcement and AV applications. The DSP Processor can provide audio and Ethernet connectivity for TCP/IP third party control and programmability. Using microphone preamps from THAT Corporation and 24-bit converters, this processor obtains a low noise floor. The 40-bit floating point DSP engine is designed to prevent digital clipping and to obtain maximum speed and power to process advanced algorithms in complex system designs. The unit can operate on any network, and when connected, the processor will be recognized and controllable. The processor provides standard mixers, gain sharing auto-mixers, delays, equalizers, level controls, duckers, filters, as well as many other processing capabilities. This processor is UL rated and intended for use in houses of worship, restaurants, presentation and conference rooms, courtrooms, and other areas in need of sound reinforcement and AV applications.

A: We are only finding this adapter available for the Vision Blue heads.

A: You would need an Atlas Sound TSD-ALC2 for each of your sources to be able to individually control the level on those sources.

A: The SQ mixers can only process up to 48 channels, so that would present a limitation. The Dante Virtual Soundcard is also not capable of 64x64 operation at 96 kHz, so the Allen & Heath SQ Dante Module for SQ Mixers and AHM-64 Audio Processor would not be able to be used in that particular way.

[Line] I’m very happy to own these speakers. I’ve done several events with just the Bluetooth capabilities. Not only can you stream your music but also control all your audio sounds levels with app and to top it off, you can pair 2 speakers to run in stereo via Bluetooth. I have controlled my music, mics and speakers wirelessly from my iPhone/iPad. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on sound and it never fails that someone will come up to me to ask what brand speakers I’m using. Turbosound is not a well known commercial brand but don’t let that fool you. These provide excellent bass and mid/high sound. My only con is the weight but the sound will make you forget about that. For all the features ,well built and durability , they are well worth the price , seriously. 5

[50 ohms] Vinten's site has really good charts showing how much counterbalance you can get with different weight systems on their Vision Blue (VB), VB3 and VB5 heads. This works great, and just as advertised. A separate plate is not required for use with their VB heads. 5

[48 kHz] For a little background, I have owned a K10, a KW122, and a KSub. Our GB band owns many QSC speakers, as well, including the K8, K10, K12, KW152, and KW181. I am a guitarist and bassist and sometimes run a pre-amp into the K-series speakers directly for lower volume situations. The original K8 has always been my favorite for acoustic guitar and I have used one many times to perform outdoor wedding ceremonies. The wide dispersion pattern and detailed midrange sits nicely with acoustic instruments. The K8.2, to me, almost sounds like the original K10 in regards to depth of sound while retaining the wider dispersion of the 8" driver. It puts out a lot of quality sound in a small form factor. I'm sure many of us are happy that the K8.2 also has the ability to be used as a floor monitor, too, which is another application I will be using mine for. The new onboard DSP, while not as quick to navigate as the analog dip switches of the original K-series, adds lots of functionality. Most notable for instrumentalists is the addition of the high impedance input setting on channel B. Combined with the onboard EQ and three different high pass filter settings, you can skip using a pre-amp and plug straight in, if a simplified setup is needed. I plan on using it this way for playing lower volume cocktail hour duo scenarios. Also, thank you B&H for offering this speaker with the carrying bag included. It made it easy to decide where to purchase it! 5

[Line] Trying to 'down-size' my live keyboard rig. Agonized about whether the 8 speakers would have enough depth to them. They work perfectly for my use (moderate volume band, piano/organ/synth - all sound great). 5

[Line] From the Universal Audio Website: The latest UAD software is compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit editions), and all Thunderbolt-equipped Apollo and UAD-2 products (Apollo X series, Apollo 8, Apollo 8p, Apollo 16 MkII, Apollo Twin, Apollo Twin MkII, Apollo Solo, Arrow, UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt, and first-generation silver Apollo/Apollo 16 models equipped with a Thunderbolt Option Card). That was an easy google, and I wonder why the other reviewer wasn't able or willing to do the same before pulling the trigger on this purchase ... or on his review. I don't understand people who write reviews in which they reveal not a single fact about the product, and instead just confess to their own lack of research before buying. The Apollo system has come under a lot of pressure, because the better computers get, the less of a need is for UA's system of handling processing in the interface as opposed to the computer's CPU. UA has responded by making more and more of their famous plugins available natively, so you can now run them in your DAW directly. Whether or not an Apollo is still your best choice depends on the power of your computer, and on how much you appreciate the design, easy usability and overall elegance of a unit like this. The price is a powerful argument to consider alternatives, unfortunately. 5

[50 ohms] For years I had debated whether I needed “vintage“ gear for my home studio. Having just completed my first project with the Apollo x4 I can say it was absolutely worth the investment for me. The quad processing power is just right for my home studio, I have not maxed out the DSP yet. Since I don’t record drums or a full band at home, there is plenty of power here to handle a small group. More often I’ll use one or two inputs at a time. Two headphone outputs is important to me so that each musician gets their own mix. I ended up spending about another $2000 to get the full UAD set of plug-ins. I would have preferred to spend half that much now and add more down the road, but the economics work out that you get a much better deal when you purchase them upfront. I would have had about 10 plug-ins, but now I have all 66 and I have already used close to half of them. A lot of money for a home studio but if you purchased a dedicated tube preamp and compressor you’d spend a similar amount, and it would sound great but it wouldn’t be as flexible. It was easy to set up, for me it “just worked”. UA support took a couple of days to respond when I had a question but they gave a thorough response. UA has great videos on their website to help you learn how to use each plugin. The buying experience from B&H was excellent—it arrived in perfect condition a day earlier than I expected. It’s an investment, but if you are dedicated to learning how to use the equipment you will get professional results. I can strongly recommend. 5
