The Tokina 25mm T1.5 Cinema Vista Prime Lens, with a PL mount and with focus scales marked in feet, provides an image circle that more than covers full-frame sensors, and is designed to provide sharp images even when recording images at 8K resolution. This 25mm focal length lens shares the same form factor, lens gear position, focus rotation, and front barrel diameter as the other Tokina Cinema Vista prime lenses. This makes on-set lens changes a fast and efficient operation. It features a maximum T stop of 1.5, useful when shooting in low light situations, or when you want to capture that exceedingly shallow depth of field look.

The 9-bladed iris provides round, out-of-focus highlights for a natural-looking bokeh. The Cinema Vista Prime lenses are designed to minimize focus breathing and feature geared manual focus and iris rings. Markings on both sides of the lens barrel make it readable from either side of the camera.

A: The Tokina 25-75mm T2.9 Cinema Zoom Lens (EF Mount) is designed for sensors in the Size range of Super35. It would not be compatible with full frame sensors.

A: no it does not. This lens's sensor coverage is larger than super 35mm but smaller than Full Frame. It is ideal for cameras like Red Komodo (which has a slightly larger than Super35mm sensor) and is only compatible with Full Frame Cameras like the FX9 when using the crop mode. Therefore we do not recommend this lens for the FX6 as it will not cover the camera's Full Frame Sensor.

[Full Frame] I got these as an upgrade to the Rokinon lens set I had, and they are crisp and look fantastic! I also plan to use them on a Movi type rig, and the light weight is what sold me on these over the competing Sigma and other brands. I am keeping the Rokinons for when a client prefers the super soft mushy background look, the overall softness of those lenses will work for those folks. But when I want a crisp clean image with a reasonable fast lens, I'll be using these. I 5

[T1.5] Do yourself a favor and get these over anything near this price bracket. They out perform the Xeens and every single way. They must not have a huge profit margin on these to be able to sell them at this price. Really incredible value if you are looking for affordable PL glass 5

[9.6 x 8.4 x 7"] It's a bit early to give a complete review (I haven't transferred the dailies yet) but I'm loving using these lenses. To be honest I was initially looking at the similar matched Canon set but didn't have the bucks so here we are. I am using them with Black Magic Ursas and they work together really nicely - especially as I do my own focus pulling. I also bought lens case which goes with the lenses. We'll see how that stands up to the rigours of the road! 5

[ARRI PL] I was mulling over staying EF or making the jump to PL. I knew that making the jump to PL would mean an exorbitant amount of money more... at least until recently. I was very skeptical of putting down my money on this set because there is literally nothing out there about them. However, I did and I'm so happy I went for that leap of faith. These lenses truly have everything you would be looking for in cine glass, and have a beautiful rendering thanks to the aspherical design. They certainly perform like a lens at a much higher price point. How these are even in the same price bracket as Xeen is beyond me... they blow them out of the water. 5

[Full Frame] Good, clean lenses that match. Had them for a few years and have had nothing but impressed clients. The fact that Duclos in LA sells and services these lenses should tell you a lot about their quality and overall industry acceptance. For the price, above excellent lens set. 5
