Q: 1. Will this eyecup fit over 1.5" diameter Swarovski Habitch armored 10X42 binocular ocular?

A: Hi John, I hope you are well today and thank you for your interest in our products. The eyecup you selected will only work with our current spotting scopes with a 20-60x eyepiece. For example, the STR 80 or ATS/STS 65 or 80 with a 20-60x eyepiece. Please contact us at 1-800-426-3089 Ext-1 to further assist you in finding the correct eyecup. Best Regards, Jacob

Q: 10. Does this Nikon have a tripoid mount included with purchase? Will it fit on the E IMAGE EK60AAM tripod without needing an additional purchase of an adapter ?

A: The Nikon ProStaff 5 20-60x82 Spotting Scope (Straight Viewing) BH #NIPS582SZFS • MFR #6974 has a 1/4" screw hole on the base for attaching to any standard tripod. [Neoprene] This is my first scope. I held off buying one all these years because I didn't want to carry a heavy awkward scope on my birding walks. When this one and the Kowa came out I started seriously considering this fairly expensive purchase. Based on reviews I was leaning towards the Kowa, but when I handled both in the store the Swarovski was just so much easier to focus and a pleasure to handle. The optics are incredible! I took it on a bird walk with 9 other people and they were all impressed and asking me about it. I've taken it out about 4 times now and carried it on my tripod for my regular ~2 mile morning walk and have had no trouble at all. Altogether the weight is ~4.5 pounds. After my car and my apartment, this is probably the most expensive thing I've purchased for myself and I have no regrets. It is small and lightweight enough that I won't think twice about regularly taking it on bird walks. I expect to enjoy this scope for a very long time!

[Neoprene] I love the Swaro ATC 17-40x56mm scope for bird watching. It has several advantages compared to my large scope the Swaro ATX 25-60x85mm. First, the ATC zoom magnification starts at 17X. This means you get a very wide field-of-view making it much easier to get on a bird quickly. For instance, if you are watching loons or grebes and they are constantly diving, you have to get on target very quickly before the bird dives again. I can get on target faster with the ATC than my big scope with higher starting magnification and much narrower field of view. Second, I rarely use the highest power magnification in my big scope due to heat waves and the very slight decline in clarity, combined with the common problem of wind and image shake. So 40X magnification from the ATC is adequate for most of my birding. Third, the ATC let's in plenty of light and the image quality is outstanding. The clarity and color and image vibrancy is as good or better compared to my larger ATX scope. Fourth, the scope is very light making it easy to carry on my shoulder with the Swaro Compact Carbon tripod. Also, since the tripod is so much heavier than the scope, there is very little image shake in mild wind. In summary, the ATC 17-40x56 is now my go-to scope that I use all the time. I love it. I still find it hard to believe that such a high performance scope can be so small.

[Neoprene] Easy to install and covers the scope perfectly, even with the lens caps on both ends. I'm one who carries my scopes and tripods loose in the back of my Jeep with chairs, table and the dog's crate. No dings or scratches yet. Highly recommended.
