Q: 6. What is the difference between this and gold 2.0 ? For both Sony A1 & 7RV, which you will recommend?!

A: CFexpress 4.0 is much faster than CFexpress 2.0. The Sony A1 & A7RV can only read up to CFexpress 2.0 speeds, you're better off buying the Gold 2.0 cards since you wouldn't be able to take advantage of the 4.0 speeds. The advantages to buying the 4.0 cards would be faster transfers to a computer, and future proofing yourself for newer cameras that support the CFexpress 4.0 speeds.

A: No, CFexpress type B cards share the same form factor as XQD but they are not compatible with the Sony FX9.

Q: 10. Will this card work for shooting videos on a Sony FX30?

A: No, the ProGrade Digital 512GB CFexpress 4.0 Type B Gold Memory Card will not work with the Sony FX30 camera. The Sony FX30 takes CFexpress Type A cards, not Type B.

[0.02 lb] This is by far the best card I've ever owned. I have 4 of them and have used it on photo shoots worldwide. The cards have been dependable, fast, and allow me to keep shooting while rarely hitting the buffer (even in fast packed wildlife action photography).

[PCI-Express 4.0] La compre por capacidad, si bien no suelo grabar a esa resolución y velocidad... tengo la certeza de poder hacer lo con confianza en 8k a 25fps sin tener ningún problema y poder aprovechar a realizar crops en 4k

[1] The OWC cards are a small fraction of the cost of Sony cards and they work just as well. I have seen _no_ difference at all. None. Performance is excellent and the Sony equivalent (and I don't think it exists in this capacity) is absurdly expensive. Sony is trying to rob users blind. The OWC cards (and there are larger cards) allow me to go on a weeklong trip with no worries about running out of storage. A second card in a two-card camera also gives you redundancy. Two such Sony cards would have cost as much as some cameras.

[VPG- 200] Very fast card reader as long as you do not use the attached prograde usb-c 4 cable.
As soon as one replaces the original cable, he can enjoy the true speed of this card reader.

[1] I am using this card in both my Z9 and Z8. The card can unload the buffer as fast as it is filled. The green light goes out a second after I finish a full burst of 200 pictures.
