[Arca-Type] Small and compact, at the price point it has very good 4K quality, sound is also great from the inbuilt mic.

[Aluminum] This wondrous little machine is all it's purported to be. Opening means on, the red monitor border says filming and like a new buddy it rides easy. A new reality unfolds every time. I think I heard my OMDEM5II weeping last night.

[Aluminum] This case gives many attachments for 1/4 inch and 3/4 inch screw mounts, two extra coldshoe mounts, a very nice wooden handle grip, and even a built in adaptor on the bottom to easily slide into many compatible tripods without needing to screw in a Tripod mount adaptor. I looked at many cages before purchasing this one and this one had the most features while also looking and feeling premium. This increases the functionality of my Z V-1 greatly and makes me want to use it even more

[Arca-Type] If you're an aspiring content creator looking for a high quality camera with a decent price, this camera is the one for you! I've had nothing but great experiences with this camera so far in my creator journey. Great for creators that are just starting out as well!!

[Arca-Type] There's a false review that claims it does not actually work well on Mac. Rode made this to use Rode Central on the Mac. Unify is for Windows.
All functionality works great using Rode Central on Mac.

[Arca-Type] I recently got this for three reasons.
1)  To allow for the battery and SD card door to be opened for swapping battles and memory cards without having to unmount the camera from the tripod.
2) To have the ability to mount the selfie-stick right under the lens instead of off to the left where the current camera tripod is.
3) Add additional grip to the camera.
The nice part if that the grip is detachable if you just want to use the cold shoe/door realignment plate.
It adds a little bit of weight, but makes the camera more balanced.
Glad I got this for the ZV-1 as it solves a few issues the ZV-1 has.

[Arca-Type] I purchased Sony ZV-1 for its portability, but it's so small for my large hand that holding such a small camera became quite awkward. This UURig Cage solved that problem very nicely. It's light yet solidly built and well designed. All the access to camera ports and the flip screen function are unhindered. With its built in threads, I can attach other accessories. The built in cold shoe is perfectly placed for attaching my directional mic.

[Aluminum] I'm absolutely blown away by how B&H Photo is on top of inventory issues that other vendors seemingly cannot manage.


For example, I've had the Rode Podmic USB on back-order for weeks on Amazon. B&H had it immediately. B&H's inventory indication is honest and doesn't mislead like Amazon's has been doing lately. I was skeptical at first when B&H said the item was In stock and would be delivered in 2 days. I went ahead and ordered, and there it was, right on time!

Example, I'd order something from Amazon that doesn't indicate any type of backorder. I'll then follow up in a day or two to see if there is any activity. Nothing. I contact Amazon Support - they give me an update that there is currently no ETA, but could ship a month after I ordered it. That's not good enough! Furthermore, I pay Amazon a lot of money every year to be a Prime member.


I'm getting more out of B&H (for free) than my **** Prime Membership!

Same for this Rode X Streamer. I ordered it from B&H, it shipped to me and was in my hands immediately. B&H Pulled through when other vendors could not! Thank you!


I should also add: B&H Gives the customer MANY, MANY other shipping options that are otherwise not a choice on other sites.

[Aluminum] Very good price. It gives a decent grip. The cage is light weight, good looking, add protection and the possibility to use a fill light and a microphone at the same time.


I wish the RX100vii version was in a similar price bracket.


It has an Arca plate at the bottom, to be quickly mounted on tripods, and provides many mounting options.


The only con is that it requires an Allen key to be installed or removed, so if you are in the field and would like to unmount the camera you need to carry an allen key with you.


But this cage allows removing the battery, memory cards, and access to all ports while it is mounted.
So there is not really much need to remove the cage.
