A: No, the Surface Book is 13.5 , a bit bigger than the regular 13 devices. It may not fit well.

A: The case is very durable but I wouldn't stand on it. I use it for extra protection for my 13 Mac (snug fit) in a sling bag. I have numerous larger pelican cases like the 1500 roller carry on camera case, the the build material is completely different. It is essentially the same case as their memory card pocket cases, but larger. Hope this helps

A: I bought this case for a 13 mac book pro. There is some room for the laptop to jiggle within the case, but not enough room for the laptop with its neoprene soft case, kind of a weird and annoying situation. If I had to purchase again, I would take the laptop to the store and try it out in cases I thought could work, its a hard product to buy online. It is made from a harder, more brittle plastic that traditional Pelican cases. B&H has them all, so roll on over and test them out.

A: Don' the know. I bought it for a Asus 13 ultra light. Fits fine for that. Check dimensions in description

[Latch] I have been using it for more than 2 years, and very satisfied with this case with the treckPak Dividers. I didn't test how fire proof or water proof it is, but I like the built quality, and the dividers are very easy to manage if you sell or purchase a new lens or camera, you can adjust the dividers to exact fit you need. I would possible order one more divider, to re-adjust the section because I switched to Sony and fill like I am lack of extra divider. 5

[Latch] The plastic is actually a lot more durable than I expected. I had to use a hammer to install it on my C-stand and the foot didn't get a scratch on it. Definitely seems to do the job. 5

[Handheld Only] I'mo glad to know these exist! I thought I would have to replace an entire c-stand because the feet were damaged or missing. Having these will extend the life of my grip stands for a lifetime! 5
