A: The Savage Kit includes a lightweight stand with a clip at the top that holds the background. There are also 3 Velcro straps on the backgrounds. 1 on one end that you could attach to a light stand and 2 along one side that you could strap onto the crossbar of a background stand setup.

Q: 2. is it compatible with surefire dft fury?

A: It is compatible with most flashlights that have an eyelet hole to accept a lanyard. The SureFire Fury Dual-Fuel Tactical LED Flashlight does not have an eyelet so it cannot accept this strap.

Q: 3. Is the front of this thing a marble gray? It seems to have a purple tone in the preview photo.

Q: 4. Can this be steamed to get the wrinkles out?

A: Yes, you can use a steamer to eliminate wrinkles if necessary, just make sure you do not hold the steamer against one spot of fabric for too long.

A: Yes it is retractable

Q: 6. does it have two side pockets for side plates as I need front, rear, and side protection?

A: This model does not have pocket's on the sides, or in the back on the outside. It only has those pockets in the front and in the back on the inside of the vest. A model that would work is the Barska BI12286. Unfortunately we do not carry this model anymore, but Barska does have this model in their inventory system still.

Q: 7. Does the color match what's shown in the picture here? The Savage website shows several pictures with varying darkness in the green color. If I keep light away from the backdrop I wonder it the color will go darker.

A: AmyThey are pretty much according to the website but naturally they will go darker or lighter depending on your light source. Also remember that the fabric is quite thin so it is sensitive to what you have behind it.This can be used to highlight a portrait from behind for example

Q: 8. It says two colors...what are they?

A: They're not exact colors but more of an overall tone. Very similar to what you see on the screen. Side A has a grayish/bluish muslin pattern. Side A has a greenish/grayish muslin pattern. This is a great kit for those portable portraits. My subjects have enjoyed the ability to have two choices and how quickly this sets up.

Q: 9. Would the stand allow this to touch the floor for full length portraits of little ones?

A: The Savage Collapsible Stand Kit (60 x 72", Dark/Light Gray) does not allow by design for it to sweep and have it as a floor to background effect.

A: This vest is for for user-supplied body armor plates on the front and back of the vest.
