The Flex Plus 12" High Bright Teleprompter Sled Modelfrom Flex Plus 12" High Bright Teleprompter Sled Modelfeatures a 60/40 beamsplitter glass, a 12" reversing monitor, and a sled base mount. The teleprompter supports nearly any camcorder, ranging from DSLR to ENG, or you can add a separately available iPad/tablet mount. The teleprompter comes with an aluminum extrusion frame, which enables mounting the camera on the prompter without requiring counterweights.

The backlit 12" monitor features built-in reversing, 1000 cd/m² brightness, VGA, HDMI, and composite inputs, and is readable from 6' away. A separately available keyboard allows you to type text into the downloadable TeleScroll prompting software for macOS or Windows. The 60/35 glass does not have to be removed when folding the hood for transport or storage. You can mount the camera to the prompter and mount that setup onto your tripod using the sled base.

[Yes] I've been using teleprompters as a key component of my shoots for the last 4 years, and have relied on my ikan hdmi monitor style prompter ever since. The issue with that one is it relies on these tiny machine screws to keep the whole thing together, so there are a lot of weak spots where I've had to retap and re-screw to prevent it from crumbling. This PP branded prompter is a great replacement. All the same features of the computer-to-hdmi-to-monitor style control, but with one hinge that has a safety stop and minimal threaded weak points. Also I'm loving the 15 size and enhanced font! 5

[Aluminum] This prompter was easy to set up and use with my Panasonic HVX-200 and Ipad 2. All I needed was a flathead screwdriver to adjust the mounting plates and balance the rig on my tripod. I used it 2 days in a row. I figure that this prompter minus the ipad paid for itself in 2 days. I use to rent a prompter with an operator for $400-$550 a day. The next step for me is to buy a Thermodyne or Pelican case to store the prompter. It is well worth the money. 5

[6' / 1.8 m] After I posted several reviews here Ikan connected me directly to assure me of a couple things. They are going to change the image associated with the 19 inch and they are working to certify the glass/beamsplitter. When a manufacturer calls me and listens I pay attention and feel better about the purchase... Ignore the previous posts. 5

[6' / 1.8 m] This is a great teleprompter for the price, honestly you wont find a better option in this price range, also the support that prompter people gives is great. They helped me setup the prompter, and the software. I read an earlier review that mentioned flip-q lite, but was happy to learn that they have not been sending out flip-q lite for a long time, and now the full version of flip-q is provided for free with the prompter. The software is easy to use, and the fact that monitor automatically flips the image makes it even easier to do things like power points or interrotron setups with this prompter. All-in-all Im very happy with my purchase. 5

[Yes] I have tried a lot of those promoters in the past and this one is finally working exactly as I expected. I suggest to use the app Power Prompter 2 which is so easy to use. Same as for prompter, I have tried many many solutions and this software is just the best. 5

[6' / 1.8 m] I'm using this teleprompter in my small home studio. This is the only teleprompter I've ever used so I might be speaking out of ignorance but I can tell you it's awesome. Talk about putting the fun back into long winded spiels. The set-up was about 15 minutes from being in the box to using it. I shoot with an EX1R and the included 'universal sizing' bracket fit great. The iPad app is very intuitive and very reasonably priced. No complaints. I would certainly recommend this product. 5

[Yes] I love how slim and light weight it is. It makes it more portable. With all the other equipment, things can get heavy so portability is a plus. Have not had any problems with it. It has HDMI and VGA connections. It has a button that can flip the image (or words). I use it as a teleprompter monitor. Seems very high quality at a very affordable price! 5
