Adopting the same powerful output and compact form of the original Forza 500, Nanlite Forza 500B II Bi-Color LED Monolight V-Mount Kithas introduced the Forza 500B II Bi-Color LED Monolight. Featuring an adjustable color temperature of 2700-6500K with green-magenta shift by +/- 80, this spotlight is dimmable from 0 to 100% in 0.1% increments so you can achieve the precise intensity needed for your video and photo productions. Blend seamlessly into any ambient light situation, match other fixtures, or allow creative expression. The light comes with a 55° reflector, Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz for wireless control, DMX/RDM capability, and four fan modes for speed adjustments or absolute silence. The redesigned control unit offers power options as the light can efficiently run via AC power or on optional V-mount batteries.

The Forza 500B II ships with an upgraded curved yoke that allows 360° rotation for a greater tilting range when used with optional large modifiers. Its base is compatible with both 5/8" baby pins and 1-1/8" junior pins and the light's Bowens mount works with a vast number of light modifiers. The light is ready for worldwide use thanks to its 110 to 240 VAC power supply, but it can also run on optional side-mounted 26V/14.8V V-mount batteries in situations where AC current is unavailable. A padded carry bag is supplied for protection during storage and transport.

The light offers 12 built-in customizable effects that can be saved as presets using the free NANLINK app.

In shooting situations where you need to match other light sources or achieve a specific look, it can be extremely helpful to adjust the green-to-magenta shift for color correction. The Forza 500B II allows you to tweak the color by +/- 80 to get there. This ability is made possible by the light's LED source.

[1x Reflector] I own 2 of the non-forza Nanlites (FS-300B and FS-150B)... Those lights are great, and very cost effective. For a new use-case however, I needed the ability to adjust Green and Magenta, so I thought I'd give this Forza 500BII a try. It's awesome! The extra expense of the light (compared to the FS line) is justified by the build quality. (Not to say that the FS line is inadequate, in fact I like those lights; rather, this thing is built like a tank!) 5

[Yes] This light is awesome. Noticeably brighter than the 300d ii (I have both), but with the obvious huge huge benefit of being bi color with plus minus green. I can't describe how great it is to be able to change cct quickly when the DP asks to warm a light rather than having a crew member cut gels. But the main feature of this light is the plus minus green. For those who don't know, every single bi color light made by any manufacturer is going to have a green or magenta shift because of the way that bicolor lights shift between cct values. This is why rgb lights are so great, because they can use their rgb diodes to correct for this shift in tint. While this light is not rgb, it has dedicated diodes in the chip that allow you to correct for the color skew. This is a flat out awesome feature, and it is added onto a light that really is built and performs incredibly well. Comparing to the first generation, it's so so much better in terms of build quality and usability. Only thing it's missing is built in crmx. But for the price you really can't go wrong. It is just flat out better than any other comparable bi color light. 5

[2700 to 6500K] Superb light. I now have three of these (and two 300B). The build quality is stellar; almost everything is metal. The yoke is smooth, easy to operate, and stable. The ballast is actually smaller than my 300B (version 1). The cables are very high-quality and flexible, with durable locking connectors. The cables are quite long, and quite thick, so cable management on set is important. Fan noise is negligible so far for me. And as for the light itself… it's crazy bright and incredible. This setup is replacing my set of studio strobes, so that I have one light kit that I can use for motion or stills. 5

[Fan] This kit arrived in time for a 5 day shoot with HGTV. They proved to be the most useful lights on the show. The par configuration is punchy and color accurate. I recommend adding the fresnel and barndoor kit to these lights. 5
