Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this device have a memory to store settings from one computer to another or will it only work on a machine running the manufacturer's software?

A: The programmable keys on the Xencelabs Quick Keys Remote are internal and not software based.

Q: 2. Can this be an alternative remote with a Wacom Cintiq 16?

A: The Xencelabs Quick Keys Remote can work alongside a Wacom product.

Q: 3. What does the R in the name stand for?

A: As others have stated, the R is for aperture ring.

Q: 4. Can I label the keys myself and modify the labels shown?

A: Out of the box all keys are blank. you can use the provided labels, or I used excel to print my own.

Q: 5. Can the Xencelabs Quick Keys be used on a computer when a Wacom tablet is also used on the same system? I read the Xencelabs tablet cannot be used if the Wacom drivers are installed, wondered if this affects the Quick Keys as well.

A: There would be a conflict with the drivers and this would also affect the Xencelabs Quick Keys.

Q: 6. is the body made of metal or plastic? and are there any other differences besides aperture between this lens and the other 35 f/2 aspherical lens you carry? I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons.

A: The FUJIFILM XF 35mm f/1.4 R Lens has an all-metal barrel, a metal mount and a metal hood. The FUJIFILM XF 35mm f/2 R WR Lens also has metal construction. You can find the differences between the two lenses here - https://bit.ly/3CAD8Pt.

Q: 7. What is the T-value of the lens at f/1.4? I'm trying to decide between Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster Mark II 35 f/0.95 and the Fujifilm XF35 f/1.4.

A: Our lenses have not been officially measured in T stops because they were designed primarily for still photography. But in practical uses no noticeable deviations have been noticed in exposures.

Q: 8. Do you sale the rods separate? I have one but the rods are broken.

A: Please contact support@smdv-usa.com

Q: 9. Does the focus ring slide back for conversion to manual focus? The 14mm lens has this feature and I really love it!

A: No it does not. The only other Fuji lens that does the push/pull for manual focus is the Fujifilm 23mm.From Fujifilm lens brochure: The XF14mmF2.8 R and XF23mm F1.4 R lenses have an AF/MF switch mechanism, which allows manual focusing using the lenses' distance index and depth-of-field scales by moving the focus ring back and forth. Additionally, an S-AF+MF stand-by MF mode, which allows fine adjustment using the focus ring after autofocusing without having to switch focus mode, will be available for all the XF lenses.

Q: 10. Can I use this lense with my lumix gh3 micro 4/3 camera?

A: No.

[850 MB] I was looking for something strong enough to support my DSLR with a nifty fifty with just the right height to sit behind my monitor for use as a webcam. This one is perfect. Strong and solid, non-telescoping legs help to ensure it sits level (and reduces cost and complexity), adjustable column to fine tune the height.

I've put a small Manfrotto ballhead on it that I already owned, but a pan-tilt head would be sufficient (and probably preferable) for this use.

[Yes] I was not familiar with Bellari but after reading about the SE560 Sonic Exciter I decided it was worth a shot for just $100. I have to say it was worth the money. I connected it between my pre-amp and power amp.
Without getting all audiophile I will simply say that I like what it does for the sound. Gives the sound a little more oomph and presence. I mean, hard to find something for this price that adds this much to the overall sound. I am quite happy with the purchase.
