Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work on a 1dx mark ii for video?

A: This lens is meant to cover Super35 which is a 1.6x crop of full-frame. The 1DX Mark II's 4K is a 1.4x crop. Therefore this lens cannot cover it. If you were to mount it on the camera, 35mm will probably be fine but zooming out the 18mm, you would definitely get vignetting. We suggest using full-frame lenses for the 1DX Mark II 4K recording.

Q: 2. What is the flange distance on the PL version of this lens?

A: 52mm

Q: 3. are these lenses parfocal?

A: This is not a parfocal lens.

Q: 4. Is there a version with a Cooke/I lens data port?

A: No. The lens would have to be serviced in order to do so. Sigma Burbank supports a lens conversion service that will convert passive PL mount Sigma Cine Primes to a /i PL mount. If you find yourself in need of amplifying your workflow with metadata, then the conversion service will allow that without needing to buy brand new lenses. If you’re interested in the lens conversion service or wish to know pricing then please reach out to: Sigma Burbank Service Department 213-699-0561 | serviceca@sigmaphoto.com

Q: 5. what would be the focal length of the 18-35 on the Red Gemini?

A: The Sigma 18-35mm T2 High-Speed Zoom Lens (PL), this item BH #SI1835T2CZPL • MFR #21096 is designed for Super 35. The Red Gemini is uses a Super 35 sensor. The focal length would be the same, there would be no crop factor of vignetting.

Q: 6. Will this work with a Z CAM E2-F6?

A: Yes, the Z CAM E2-F6 EF Mount version is compatible with the Sigma 18-35mm T2 High-Speed Zoom Lens (Canon EF).

Q: 7. will this be manual focus only?

A: Yes

Q: 8. Is it parfocal?

A: According to Sigma, None of the zoom lenses in the (Sigma Cine Lens) lineup are parfocal, but the optical system of each lens offers minimal focal shifting during zooming.

Q: 9. Is the mount on this lens user interchangable?

A: Yes, the Sigma 18-35mm T2 High-Speed Zoom Lens mount can be converted at a Sigma Factory location. Mount Conversion Service - https://bit.ly/3UD41vf

Q: 10. Putting this on the BMPCC6K will it be 18-35 or will it be 18(×1.55)-35(×1.55) like the sigma art zoom.

A: The PCC6K has a 1.558X Crop Factor. An 18 to 35mm will be the equivalent of a 28 - 55.5mm lens.

[1x HDMI Male] This cable provides a welcome snug fit between my FUJIFILM XT-4 D mini HDMI output and HDMI input on my Andycine external monitor. I also like the extra length of this 18 cable.

[6.8 x 6 x 0.4"] Perfect HDMI solution for now and future 8K requirements. Very nice cable for camera and monitor-recorder rig needs. An easy to work cable that's not going to be outdated.

[0.045 lb] Excellent cable for getting rid of a much stiffer 4K cable plus it is just the right length from my cpu to monitor.
I have ordered another.

[0.045 lb] Plugged it in to my Sony A7III and Elvid monitor, and this little cable worked immediately, no issues at all. This cable is very thin for an HDMI cable, which comes in handy for a variety of scenarios. Having something this thin makes it easy to keep the cable out of the way. And being less bulky makes it perfect for times when you want things as light as possible, like handheld or with a gimbal. I have the 3' version. The 1.6' version could have worked for certain situations too, but I personally like having the extra length for versatility in case I need it. Even though it is a thin cable, it feels strong and made of quality materials. The plugs also seem like they are made with quality materials. I do not see any obvious weak points that could get damaged. Again, even with its small diameter, it just feels very well-made and should last a long time. Which is exactly what I want. Even though I do not shoot in 8k yet, the specs to the cable says it can support that resolution easily. This is nice in case I ever move to 8k. And this might sound silly and trivial, but I love that the plugs are red in color. Makes the cables look even cooler and expensive on set in front of clients. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality and functionality of these HDMI cables. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

[6.8 x 6 x 0.4"] This is a well-made cable, especially considering how thin it is. Stays out of the way when shooting and is great for when you do not want anything bulky in the way. This will be great when you want as small a cable as possible, like on a gimbal or when running and gunning. Compatible with 8k video which is fantastic and is rated for very high speeds. I do not currently shoot in 8k, but it is great for futureproofing. The connectors fit into my camera and Elvid monitor with the right amount of pressure and resistance. Not too loose where you are afraid it will fall out, and not too tight that you struggle plugging it in. And when it was plugged in, it worked immediately, which is what you want most of all. I'm very happy with this HDMI cable and love that it is so small and discreet. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

[Gold] This works great. I’m able to connect my canon r5c to an elgato 4k cam link. It’s not getting the max capabilities it can do currently, but it should be future proof. My camera can put off 8k like the cable can handle. Great cable build, feels high end
