[.52"] Installation wasn't super easy, but it works great. Sometimes have to manually divert sound to the headset, and if the headset goes to sleep I have to reboot the wireless/steam. Otherwise, great purchase!

[USB] The optics are a huge improvement over my previous headset the Vive Cosmos Elite. I do miss the Valve Index Controllers I was using with that. The controllers here are fine and I haven't had any issues with tracking. There is a fairly limited software selection currently for standalone. I mostly purchased for PCVR though which is working fairly well. I've used it to wirelessly stream with the Vive Streaming hub over a point to point Wifi6 connection to my PC as well as over my Google Wifi Mesh network which is only 5ghz. It works better on 6 of course, but it worked well enough on 5ghz as well. Wired is obviously the best experience if you're playing something like a microsoft flight simulator or something else mostly stationary.
Sound is pretty good. You can also pair bluetooth headphones or use a dongle to get a normal headphone jack from the accesory USB-C in the front of the unit.
I'm really enjoying it in glasses mode where there is virtually no pressure on my face.
My issue now is trying to find a usb-C cable with power injection that works to charge the unit so i can play PCVR that way without it slowly draining over time.

[USB] After seeing some reviews on the Vive Pro 2, I was a little skeptical. They say the sweet spot is terrible, the glare is bad, the visuals aren't as good as they say. I had a Rift S, then a Reverb G2, and finally running the G2 in a hybrid setup with lighthouses and index controllers. After picking this bad boy up, I can say that the reviews exaggerate. The sweet spot is small, but no smaller than the Reverb. The glare is there in high contrast scenes but it's only really noticeable when you aren't actively doing anything, and the visuals are fantastic if you crank the resolution to extreme. By default the vive console automatically changes resolution for optimal performance. The colors are vibrant and gorgeous, the screen is crystal clear, and the Field of View is great with some amazing edge to edge clarity. If you already have lighthouses and controllers, this is definitely a SOLID upgrade from everything except possibly those running the first Vive Pro. Another note is the audio is a little heavy on the treble until you use the bass boost function built in to windows either with or without dolby atmos.

[.52"] It tracks! It's a bit less likely to become occluded on the waist too. Pairs with the Tundra Tracker SW7 dongle that I already had. Should be compatible with the SW3/4/5 too.
