[Empty] I got this case in hopes of getting my gear organized whether I'm travelling or not. It worked like a charm! Everything that I use with any regularity, except for tripods and lighting equipment, fits into that small case. I did get a third-party mesh lid organizer -- Pelican does not make one for the V525 -- but other than that, it was used as-is. I have my D500, six lenses (500 pf, 80-400, 17-55, 18-140, Sigma 50-150, and Tokina 14-24), the TC14iii, a flash unit, and the various cleaning materials, filters, spare batteries, charging unit, and extra CFExpress cards and card reader all in that one case. The case is rugged and portable. What more could you ask for? 5

[Empty] I have 6 of these, they provide an easy solution to customizing the interior for whatever you need to stow. They are more flimsy than normal pelicans but if you're not cascading mountains or crossing rivers like most of us, you'll be alright. Tips: If it has a hard time closing, don't force it, your items are too big and are in danger of being damaged. I've owned Pelican and SKB's and I honestly think the Vault line is the best fit for me. 5

It is however, so much lighter than the 1510 yet still sturdy enough for my requirements of taking around town and occasionally carrying on an airline. The weight savings make it far better to use.
