Q: 1. Will this accommodate a canon ef 500mm f/4 and a canon 200-400mm f4 at the same time?

A: The Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 Backpack (Black, 30L) can hold either the Canon EF 200-400mm f/4L IS USM lens or the Canon EF 500mm f/4L IS II USM Lens, but not both.

Q: 3. Will this fit the Canon RF 600mm f4?

A: The Canon RF 600mm f/4 L IS USM Lens does fit into Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 Backpack (Black, 30L), though the diameter of the hood is a bit snug.

Q: 4. Can you have two pro (grip) camera bodies with mounted lenses, one in each side? Seems a bit narrow for this.

A: Yes, you can, but also depends on the lenses.

Q: 5. Can it carry a Z9 +a 24-120 z lens?

A: Yes , your Nikon Z9 mirrorless camera and 24-120mm Z lens would fit perfectly in the compagnon Element Camera Backpack (Desert Brown). The bag interiror dimensions are 19.3 x 11.4 x 6.3". The camera with lens attach is 5.9 x 5.9 x 8".

Q: 6. What are the dimensions of the zip quick side access?

A: While you did not specify which Sony camera body you own, from the dimensions of the Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 30L Backpack (Black) and the images shown of the case, yes, it should be able to accommodate the Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM OSS Lens with the attached Sony ALC-SH155 Lens Hood and a Sony camera body with a battery grip.

Q: 8. Will the Nikon 800mm PF fit in the bag with the lens hood revered and stored on the camera. I have a concern the + model with the laptop sleeve will decrease the depth to prohibit the storage of the lens. Thanks!

Q: 10. Does this fit into the overhead storage bin on smaller regional jets? Obviously it won't fit under the seat, and you certainly wouldn't want to check it.

[Zipper] I have 5 of these original bags - pack them around the world photography wildlife & landscapes - the original one was superb - was unhappy with the tarmac updated version they have been selling since the original Kiboko was discontinued- the tarmac version zippers were horrible to use - slowed you down getting your gear quickly for that unexpected shot - the version zippers are back to the quality of the original that Andy Biggs wildlife photographer designed on the original - BH photo could not tell me if the new zippers were better than the tamrac so I contacted Andy - he assured me version 2 is back to the original quality and he was right - now it is lower height in the bag - can still get my 1dxmii with canon 200-400 1.4 with lens hood in without issue - a little concerned that a sony 400 f2.8 being 1 1/4 higher before lens hood might not fit..dont have the sony yet so I cannot test - one criticism is that while the backpack system is definitely made more robust than the original it is very hard to stuff the backpack stuff into the zippered compartment - my original stuffs in fast and does not increase the depth much - this revised version being so cosy for the zipper compartment results in greater depth than the original but it seems to come to the approximate 9 that the airlines especially in Europe & Australia demand so I think it will be okay and I am hoping with use that the zipper compartment will stretch a little to allow easier in and out - if you travel, worry about airlines causing you a problem I recommend you buy this bag

[Zipper] I was nervous about the bag being able to hold my 400 lens but it holds that lens with camera attached as well as my 100-400 lens with camera attached. I can also get extra batteries & other little things I may need when I am out shooting. It was a bit pricey but it is a great bag!

[Zipper] This backpack was hard to find in stock anywhere including the manufacturer’s website, but B&H had it in stock and in my hands within a couple of days! It has plenty of storage space and will accommodate my Nikon DSLR with Nikki’s 200-500mm zoom attached on one side with plenty of space for my other DSLR and lenses on the other side. The straps fold up in a pocket on the back if needed, is right size for carry on luggage, and I actually squeezed a 17” laptop into the sleeve for laptops. I will actually be using a 16” laptop with it though! It’s everything you see in the listing and reviews!

[Zipper] Well constructed, lighter than other bags I looked at, a lot of nice bonus features - extra dividers for customization, velcro straps for managing loose adjustment straps, harness zips away when not in use. The bag is carry on compliant, but holds a lot of gear. Z800mm with hood reversed and camera attached fits on one side, second body with 100-400 attached fits on the other, as well as a couple of shorter lenses. Ample room for filters, batteries, etc in the external pockets.

[Zipper] The Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 Backpack is the perfect camera bag for me. A unicorn, something that I did not believe existed. I could not be happier with my purchase. I can carry my camera, lenses, and accessories safely. Its design is excellent for organizing your equipment with quick access. I have many camera bags, and the Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 is by far the best.

[Zipper] I love this bag. I had the original and when it was discontinued, I did everything I could to scrounge a backup bag on eBay. When this was released, I grabbed one right away. Pretty much the same as the old bag - which is a great thing. You can get more gear in this than most (if not all) other 30L bags, access is far better (you don't have to open the entire front flap to get to something at the bottom), and it's incredibly versatile. I've used the current bag for wildlife shoots all over the world and it's been great. Even fits my Nikon 600mm!

[Zipper] It’s my 4th Gura Gear backpack after Uinta, G32, Kiboko 22 . So far the best one. Fixes all the flaws in the G32 construction, making it a solid upgrade and a great evolution of the Kiboko line. The shallower depth was much anticipated as I often had problems with putting my G32 into overheads on smaller aircrafts. As for the space inside, no problem at all to fit my D850,D500, Z6 800/5.6 (w/aquatech hood), 500/5.6, 50/1.8Z, 24-70/4, FTZ, TC1.2,TC1.4 and still have some space for accessories. My beast D850 TC1.2 fits into one compartment (body detached). The rest fits into the second one, with some better arrangement I think I’ll be able to squize 24-24/2.8 as well, though haven’t tried that yet. Zippers work smooth, much better than in G32. The black colour and narrower fit makes it visually smaller from the G32 which is a plus while being at the gate - much less chances to being asked for carry on weight control as it looks really normal :) summing up, the best backpack on the market. Only con is the price.

[Zipper] So thankful to have the original 30L Kiboko back. My old one is almost worn out. The 32L from Tamron was a little too big and made me worry about getting the bag onto the plane. It is a tight fit, but I can wiggle my 600mm into one side of this pack. (The 600mm might fit better if the hood were packed separately in a suitcase.) My wife brings the 24L on the plane which she now finds too heavy. Not a problem. We got a cheap dolly from Amazon which she attaches to the bag to wheel the bag on to the airplane where we detached the dolly and put dolly into the over head compartment. Never had an issue with this combination.

[Zipper] I have more camera backpacks and cases than I would like to admit. In general, I prefer Lowepro but this one just seemed perfect for me. The split compartments is idea. I put my Nikon camera and lenses on one side and my Sony on the other. It has more storage than one thinks and it is all easily accessible when you lay it on it's back. The material is light but strong. The zippers are great. The two handles are strong and comfortable. If you are just carrying the pack to a location you can pack the shoulder straps out of the way. (The waste belt must be removed.) Camera packs are personal but this one is perfect for me. I recommend it.
