The RAM Mounts Flat Surface Mount with X-Grip IIIfrom RAM Mounts Flat Surface Mount with X-Grip IIIworks with most 10" tablets with or without sleeves. It consists of a two 2.5" diameter round bases with the universal AMPS hole pattern, a long double socket arm and a universal X-Grip III clamping cradle. The X-Grip is composed of a composite spring loaded cradle, expandable grip arms, and additional bottom support keeper with easy access grip knobs, located on the back of the cradle for quick release of your tablet.

A: I recommend you get the RAM MOUNTS RAM Quick-Grip XL Smartphone Holder with Ball Mount BH #RAHOLPD4238U, as you can use it with a thicker case if needed, and in case you upgrade your phone to a bigger phone. On the RAM-HOL-PD4-238A, you would have to use it without a case since with your current case it is a tad bigger than the maximum height of the product.

A: In order to fit into the cradle, the width of the tablet must be between 7.25 and 8.75.

A: To place it in the windshield you will need a suction cup and a double Socket Arm. I think BH already offer the combo of the three components but I am not 100% sure.

[1.85 lb] Going on a 10-day, 2,200 mile trip over Labor Day, I purchased a cheap handlebar phone mount thinking I was all set. However, on Day 3, the spring clamp inside the thing broke and I was about 800 miles into the trip....UGH!! Bought this when I got home, and I must say this IS the one to buy. Rugged and easy clamping, it is well worth the $. 5

[Steel, Aluminum] Good cell phone mount that I use in my truck to keep my eyes on the road while commuting. Shakes a little bit on bumpy road but never drops my phone. The adhesive is really strong and keeps the mount attached my dashboard. 5

[1.85 lb] I have a similar RAM mount for my previous phone and Otterbox case but it was too small. This larger one works great for my Galaxy S21 with the Otterbox Defender case. The phone fits securely in the holder like it should. Great product - far superior to anything else out on the market. 5

[Steel, Aluminum] I previously had the Ram X Grip Phone holder on the motorcycle. This did work OK except it was difficult to mount my phone without making contact with the buttons on the side of the phone. The Ram Quick-Grip XL solved that problem with the versatile location adjustments of the side pieces. I also appreciate the spring loaded grip at the top of the mount that makes installing or retrieving the phone from the mount quick and easy. 5

With the RAM Mount system, it's easy to adjust the placement to where you want your phone to be facing an angled. Not too difficult to place and then remove your phone as needed once you get used to how the holding mechanism works. Recommended. 5

[Steel, Aluminum] I needed a phone mount to use for my motorcycle and needed something tough. Holds the phone very securely and was just what I was looking for. Used with short double socket arm and was able to position phone perfectly. A little adjustment was needed for the 4 posts but was easy. Highly recommend. 5
