Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does anyone know if this bag will fit a 12-inch MacBook?

A: An iPad will fit; however, a 12-inch MacBook would definitely not fit.

Q: 2. Can someone tell me the color Sage is that in two different shades of green? I saw the photo of sage with chocolate leather vs sage with tan leather, it does look different and I wonder if there is only one color for sage - the other looks more like British Green!!

A: There is only one color for sage whether the trim is chocolate or tan leather the material that is used is the same. All the best.Eric

Q: 3. Would this bag accommodate a Fuji x100v plus personal items? Want a bag to use as my everyday purse plus fit the camera. No extra lens to worry about

A: Yes , the Billingham Hadley Shoulder Bag Small will easily accomodate the Fuji X100V and some personal items.

Q: 4. Will be carrying only a Nikon D750 with the Nikkor 24-70mm lens. Will it fit?

A: That set up would be ideal for the hadley pro.

Q: 5. I'm interested in using this as a lens changing bag, how many Nikon/Canon 24-70mm f2.8 sized lenses can it comfortably fit? 2 or 3?

A: Two lenses would fit comfortably, 3 would too but a bit tight

Q: 6. I own a Fujifilm x-e2 with a 18-55 lens, later certainly one or two other lens and a flashlight, and I want to buy a Billingham bag. I hesitate between the Hadley small, L2, f2.8 and Hadley pro. Who can help me finding the best model (not too big, not too wide, with possibly additional pockets)?

A: I have the Hadley Small Pro which has exactly the same interior dimensions. Essentially it is the same bag with some additional features: a top handle, back zipper pocket, etc. It easily carries my Fuji X-E3 with 3 Fuji prime lens (35mm, 23mm, and 18 mm) with one always attached to the camera body. I previously used the S2 bag, but it was suitable for only two lens,, and the zipper top was unhandy for easy access to the camera when walking and shooting because it was not fully open like the Hadley bags..

Q: 7. Will it hold a nikon zf with a 24-200 lens?

A: The Billingham Hadley Shoulder Bag Small would be too small to hold the Nikon Zf with any lens attached.

Q: 8. Hi, can you tell me dose this bag can fit a vertically placed Sony a7m2 with a zeiss 16-35 lens mounted? And whether there has a spare space for a zeiss 55 lens? Thank you!

A: These are the internal dimensions of the hadley small.W260mm (10) x D80mm (3?) x H190mm (7)

Q: 9. What is "special" about the "special edition"? Merely the red color?

A: Yes , the color combination

Q: 10. Hi,I have seen that Billingham has came out with a new color combination of this bag. It is called Sage/Chocolate and looks like this: http://donovanbond.co/blog/the-billingham-hadley-smallI cannot find it on your website, but maybe it is so new that you haven't received it yet? If you have it, how do I do to purchase it online from you?If you don't, would it be possible to order it from you and if so, how long would that take?Thank you most kindly for your help.Warm regards, Johan

A: Billingham USA is currently not importing this item for US dealers and we have no information as to if or when they might. If available to us, we will post it on our site.

[Leather] Nicely made. I've come to like the more flexible fabric on these vs the heavy canvas versions. This is just a bit narrow in depth from what I was expecting and since receiving it, have changed my intended use for it. I am now using it for a Contax G system, 2 bodies, 3 lenses along with the large 360 flash and the other trivials one brings along and it just barely handles the chore. Seems like a lifetime bag (but then again, I'm pretty old!).

[Tan/Beige] I adore this bag for my Micro 4/3. I have a lot of camera bags, and this is always the first one I reach for. It can hold two Olympus OMD bodies, one with a 12-40mm f/2.8 attached and the other with a Panasonic 35-100 f/2.8 attached. And I still have plenty of room for accessories. If I am using smaller lenses, I can also fit several spare primes. My rule is that if my gear fits into the Hadley Small, then I am good to walk around all day in any kind of weather. My shoulder will still feel good at the end of the day, and I don't have to take breaks because I am tired of carrying gear around. If my gear doesn't fit into the Hadley Small, I am carrying too much. I also have a Hadley Pro, which is a great bag and which I use when I need to carry a lot of gear: two bodies and a big lens (like the Panasonic 100-300), big flashes or my 13 MacBook Air. With a fully loaded Hadley Pro, though, I will feel the weight by the end of the day. It's okay for a few hours, but not all day. There is nothing else that matches the comfort and flexibility of the Hadley Small --- and I have a lot of camera bags. And the Hadley Small is a good looking bag, too. I like the Hadley Small so much that I have two of them, one in Sage/Tan and one in Black/Tan. I have had the Sage bag for several years, and it still looks brand new --- and I don't baby it at all. I haven't had the black bag as long, and I am a little concerned that it might show lint more than the sage bag. It's really too soon to tell. The Hadley Small is an expensive bag, but it is worth every penny. Just get it.

[Leather] Look at https://youtu.be/9bIKSaYfWFU for what the bag will hold. I actually got more in there than I expected. For reference, the M5 has the 18-150mm attached w/hood and strap. The other lenses are the M 11-22mm w/hood and the M 55-200mm w/hood. Also included: EX-270-II flash with soft box, filter kit, cleaning kit, white balance kit, small tabletop tripod, spare lens caps, charger (forgot to show two spare M5 batteries), body cap, spare rear lens cap, AA batteries. There's still a bit of room in the main compartment above the vertically placed 55-200 and in one of the front pockets. Reversing all three hoods would yield more space for small items. Construction is excellent. I'm very pleased with the bag and content outcome!

[Leather] I have a Hadley Pro. I am so glad BHphoto carries these replacement straps. My dog somehow got into my office and chewed up the straps on my Hadley Pro. Luckily only the straps were chewed up and the rest of the bag was fine. From the looks of the damage, the build quality is pretty darn good, however, I need my bag looking flawless so I purchased these replacement straps. As for function, I love the quick releases, especially when traveling, I need to get in and out of my bag often. It's a great buy and BHphoto is one of the pnly places that carries these. If glad, because I don't want to order directly from England to get replacement parts.

[Tan/Beige] I'm using the bag for my new Fujifilm x-t2. It fits well with the 18-55 mm lens attached. There is room for 1 or 2 more lenses which I will add later. Very good quality. Glad there is no velcro. I kinda miss having a handle on the top of the bag, but overall I really like the bag.

[Tan/Beige] Excellent camera bag for one camera and a lens. My only criticism is the lack of a pocket outside the bag--but this is a minor one. The ease of which the photographer can open the bag and quickly retrieve his camera makes up for this issue. This will be the bag I must often use when I'm using one camera.
