Q: 4. Is this compatible the the corning 25m optical cable? I tried using the optical cable and this dock will not work. It works fine with the included thunderbolt cable. Any advice?

A: Only a USB-C cable should be used with the CalDigit USB Type-C Pro Dock.

Q: 5. What happened with the noise reduction/cancelling feature (similar to Pulse)? Is it part of the MDRILL One Plus that we can buy online and in store, or only available as a firmware upgrade?

A: At this time, there does not seem to be any noise cancellation built into this mic. You could use 3rd party plugin software to help reduce unwanted outside noise, such as BH #IZ10RX7EL.

Q: 6. Is it compatible with Linux Mint ( the last one I bought said it was and it wasnt )?

A: The THRONMAX M2P-B MDrill One Pro USB Microphone does not list compatibility with Linux Mint in the specifications.

A: You can only connect or the USB-C to USB Adapter or the 29W power adapter to the USB port at a time. You will need a USB-C Digital AV Multiport to connect both.

Q: 9. Does this dock support dual-screen extending on MacOS, or only mirroring?

A: You are able to extend it to two additional monitors. Not only mirror but extension as well.

Q: 10. Is this a good desktop mic for normal voice dictation?

A: Yes you can use the Thronmax MDrill One Pro USB Microphone for voice dictation and it will work well for that application.

[0.33 lb] I bought this for travel with my new MacBook Pro that wants a 140W charger. This one lets me charge three things at once, unlike the Mac charger. However, it only delivers 140W when only the MacBook Pro is plugged into it. If you plug one or two other items, the MBP only receives 100W, but that seems to be sufficient for overnight charging while also charging the phone, watch, or whatever. It feels well made, a little heavier than a similar 100W charger it replaces, but it's the close to the same dimensions, which are smaller than the Apple charger that comes with the MacBook Pro. 5
