This 4-Way 4K HDMI Switcher from Blustream is a versatile HDMI switcher with four HDMI inputs, a single HDMI output, and audio breakout to one digital coaxial port and one analog 3.5mm stereo jack. The unit supports all known HDMI audio formats, input and output resolutions up to UHD 4K60 with a 4:4:4 color space, and 3D signal display. A: In general an HDMI signal can only travel around 25 feet.

Q: 4. Can I use this switchers with OBS to switch between my dslr cameras?

A: No. This switcher works as a selector. The input you choose is the one that is send, but if you switch from one input to another, the switching is not seamless and will probably give you a second of black in between. OBS will not control this unit.

A: Well, the input port does not provide power for the USB and Full Comunication via HDMI to the TV. Hope this is a start point to figure out a way to make it work.

A: This is a Switcher that has 3 HDMI Inputs and 1 Output. You would be able to connect 3 HDMI Sources to it to switch between on a single HDMI output.

Q: 10. Can I connect Google Chromecast (hdmi dongle) to this device with the intent of sending the hdmi output to a projector AND then going toslink/digital audio out to an audio receiver?

A: The quick answer is yes.... However if your only use is to bring in 1 HDMI source and go to toslink then there are other products that will also work, if you are bringing in multiple sources and sending them to your projector and audio system then this is a great box...

[4:4:4] I bought this because my old splitter was a piece of junk and only had 4 ports, this one is exactly what i need as most 4K Tv's, there's really only 1 TRUE 4K HDMI port, so that's why i got this and it works great from switching between my Xbox, Apple TV, and other devices i have attached it it. Very easy to set up and use. Might buy another one for my other TV 5

[4:4:4] My only complaint is that someone said it came with a power supply, and it does not. It comes with a USB power cable, but you must supply your own USB power supply. Not a deal breaker, but companies should really include everything you need to make their products work. 5

[1.9 lb] Simple to use and switching between devices smooth. There is a moment you wait for the next devise to show, but it is a reasonable amount of time. I use this for presentations with two laptops and a phone. Great price. 5

[4:4:4] I used this in a custom podcast/tv studio installation, and it has been working flawlessly between 4 sources. It doesn't require A/C power, and also senses a new connection most times, so you don't even have to manually press the button. Thus far, zero issues. (FYI: my sources are: Roku, AppleTV, USB-C/HDMI adapter for laptops, and a Speck media player) 5

[1.9 lb] GUI is intuitive and it was very easy to set up and get working. Remote control over RS232 and/or telnet also worked flawlessly. My only caveat is that changing between matrix switching mode (full screen output from single switchable source) and multiviewer mode is slow and certainly not seamless, but this is probably not an issue in most use cases. 5
