Specifically engineered to provide live stage performers with a clear, detailed vocal sound that rivals studio mics, the black Nexadyne 8/S Capsule from Shure is a supercardioid dynamic vocal microphone capsule for use with Shure handheld wireless transmitters. The 8/S features an innovative Revonic dual-transducer design that uses two separate, but interdependent sets of diaphragms, voice coils, and magnets. This unique technology gives this dynamic mic condenser-like clarity with a crisp, yet natural high-end and plenty of detail—allowing vocalists to worry less about mic technique and instead focus on delivering powerful performances.

The supercardioid polar pattern provides tightly focused audio capture centered on the performer in front of the mic, reducing bleed from other sources for a clearer sound and less feedback issues from on-stage monitors. A dent-resistant grille protects the microphone element, ensuring it survives the rigors of daily stage use. The Nexadyne 8/S capsule will work with any Shure handheld transmitter that supports interchangeable capsules including the Axient, ULX-D, QLX-D, and SLX-D systems.

  • Shure's Revonic system is an innovative dynamic microphone design that uses two matched dynamic transducers, working in conjunction, to provide more opportunity for both greater sound quality and the rejection of unwanted signal.
  • Wiring the transducers out-of-phase cancels mechanical vibration, so self-noise is actively zeroed out. This makes traditional pneumatic shockmounts unnecessary, and allows the transducers to be optimized for acoustic performance.
  • Vocal performers will experience natural and vivid clarity when performing—enabled by a cartridge design that optimizes signal output acoustically, producing more of the desired sound source and less environmental and handling noise.
  • Engineers will receive stronger and clearer output, resulting in fewer EQ corrections that are often necessary with other mics to retain vocal clarity within the mix.

[0.65 lb] I purchased this to replace a KSM9. The KSM 9 is great, but on stage we tend to have different singers with different levels of projection and mic control. Bring in the V7 MC1 and I can immediately tell the difference with more rejection of stage instruments. The eq felt very similar to the KSM 9 but with less high end. Still very silky and round on Female Vocals. Was a quick and easy replacement on the UR 2 Mic Transmitter.

I will be buying a few more soon.

[Black] I recently converted my Shure SM58 wireless mic into a Beta 87A by purchasing this new cartridge. It makes the mic a bit lighter and a bit shorter, but the purpose of switching it out was to reduce feedback, and so far that it has done!!!Glad to have made this purchase.Thanks!!... This was the lowest price I could find on the internet, as well.

[Supercardioid] I'm very impressed! The microphone has a very pleasant bright sound with a clear high range, but the level of feedback is the same as in SM58. The vocals are very readable in the general mix . In this microphone (SE V7) you do not need to cut off the low frequencies, it does not drum. In my personal opinion, V7 sounds even better than Telefunken d80.
