[0.25 lb] Nikon supplies a very good case and lens cover. The travel coat is very well made and appears to be durable but again it is probably not required for my use with the Nikon furnished case and lens cover.

[0.25 lb] I've been using the travelCoat on one of my bigger lenses for quite a while now and really like it. This works well for my Z 600mm f/6.3 when i travel. I put the lenscoat hoodie on first, then this travelCoat.

[0.25 lb] This is much better than the bubble wrap and shelving paper I was using to protect my lens while traveling. It's light-weight and form-fitting so it does not take up any extra room.

[0.25 lb] When I travel, I put this over my lens and pack it in my carry-on/roll-aboard luggage. It works well. I have similar for my larger 500mm f4E lens
