Featuring an extended frequency range of 470 to 692 MHz, the Lectrosonics M2C-L Active Antenna Combiner is an ideal matching component to Lectrosonics digital transmitters. Up to eight transmitters can feed a single antenna to minimize cabling in multichannel systems. The inputs are isolated to minimize crosstalk and IM (intermodulation) between RF channels.

The overall architecture of the design provides excellent performance with low power consumption and heat buildup. Front-panel indicators display active status of RF inputs. A USB port on the front panel is provided for firmware updates.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is the power supply 110~220v automatic?

A: Yes

Q: 2. Will this work with the 1/4 wave antennas from the EW-D receivers?

A: Yes, the Sennheiser EW-D ASA 4-Way Active Antenna Splitter with DC Distribution for EW-D Wireless Systems can be used with a pair of 1/4 wave antenna provided with one of the receivers. It can also be used with 1/2-wave dipole antennas or paddle style antennas for added range and reliability.

Q: 3. Can you have one transmitter going to multiple receivers?

A: Yes, that is possible, you just need to have the receivers tuned to the same channel and frequency band.

Q: 4. Is it okay to keep it in the rain or should the antenna be covered with a plastic bag?

A: The Lectrosonics ALP620 Perforated LPDA Shark Fin Style Antenna is not IP-rated; therefore, it cannot be left out in the rain. Using a plastic bag or rain cover to protect it will actually affect the wireless range of the antenna, making it prone to RF interference.

Q: 5. Will these antenna work with various brands of radio receivers? E.g. if Im running both Lectros and Sennheiser

A: Yes! It's brand agnostic.

Q: 6. Does this antenna work with my Sk/Ek 100 (516-558 frequency)? Thanks for your reply

A: This antenna only works in 558 to 626 MHz

Q: 7. Is this easy to replace and does it work on the G2 receiver?

A: This would not be compatible. Sennheiser does not list an available replacement antenna for the G2.

Q: 8. Will this work on the newer G3s?

A: Yes, I bought these antennas to replace some broken ones for ew100 G3, and they are worked good. I measured the length, check frequencies bandwidth with original A-band both are the same. Make sure to get the right bandwidth of the antennas, choose the right band. Easy to replace.B&H customers service is excellent.

Q: 9. Can the Lectrosonics PCA900 Printed Circuit LPDA Antenna be used on a wireless microphone system?

A: as long as the frequencies match and you have an antenna input that will accpet a 50ohm BNC.

Q: 10. will this antenna work with the EK 100 G2 A receiver with the same frequency 518-554mhz?

A: Replaced the antenna on my G2 and it works great!

[8.8 lb] I’ve been a staunch supporter of the sm series for years, and this is a great upgrade from the classic small body unit. The menu functionality is easy and faster than the old one, and the recorder function is awesome for super long or wide shots. Battery life is comparable to the old sm. Can’t wait to add more to my kit!

[60 W (Maximum)] Has worked very well, simple to tune, can be used as IFB or camera hop. Beware when mating this to Lectros M2R that phantom power isn't applied or it will fry the unit!! Must get phantom power block cables!

[60 W (Maximum)] I have 4 PSM300 and this works fantastic for streamlining the set up in my rack. It's not cheap solution to eliminate 3 power supplies and 3 antennas but in my case I consider it well worth it.

[8.8 lb] I was facing many frequency problems and everything was solved with this manager, changed from water to wine! I recommend it to everyone facing the same problem.

[470 to 692 MHz] I purchased this to replace an analog IEM antenna combiner that I was using on a Digital IEM platform that was having issues with dropouts and interference. The original (high-end professional) product had been recommended by another supplier, and I was skeptical that it would make any difference to replace as it was amplifying and combining the same signal. This combiner (made specifically with tuning to support Digital IEM's) instantly fixed all of the issues I had been chasing for months. The IEM's are now solid from hundreds of yards away, and no dropouts. This thing has saved my productions.

[RF Gain: 0 dB] If you can handle it’s larger size, the Lmb is the best 50mw transmitter in the market. Greatly exceeds similar priced sennheiser 500 series transmitters in range.

[470 to 692 MHz] I bought 5 pieces of LMB-B1 and I am Happy with themclean audio As all Lectrosonics,Easy to useBatteries last for a long time. it is not good distance and Audio quality when used with UCR 201. i test them out it is better to used them with LR - 411- Srb or Venue with VRT, i use them with 401 it is good but not good distance. You should pay attention to the door of the batteries a little bit sensitive.

[470 to 692 MHz] A must-have if you have 3-4 PSM300s. I got to combine the antennas and power all my units from one power source freeing up more power for other units in our rack. Works perfect.
