The Movcam Lens Mount for Blackmagic Pocket Camerafrom Movcam Lens Mount for Blackmagic Pocket Camerais an add-on piece for a pre-existing Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera rig. When used with the required spacer, the support relieves pressure from the camera's lens mount by reinforcing the lens from below. A: The camera doesnt have this mode. It is something we are considering in a future update. No promises however.

Q: 3. Do raw crop modes of BMPCC 4K have less dynamic range than its full sensor raw?

A: The crop factor does not effect the dynamic range of the camera.

Q: 4. Will this work on a BMCC?

A: In theory if you have a BMCC with micro four thirds mount this mount should work...the issue is that the sensor size between the two cameras Is different, The Cinema camera is bigger. I think you need to do a practical test on the matter.

Q: 5. Images show this camera working with the samsung t5 - does this work across all storage sizes available for the t5?

A: It will work fine as long as the necessary bandwidth for the resolution frame rate and codec is provided.

A: Andre,Our PL Mount Adapter does not include any internal electronics so you will not have built in aperture control. Most PL Lenses do not require or use aperture controls and will only transfer meta data information.The product you linked is an EF adapter, not PL.

Q: 7. does it support metabones speedbooster?

A: This is meant to work with Mocam products to support a lens adapter such as those by Metabones.

Q: 8. Any word on gimbal compatibility?

A: In photo 15 of this page it shows the camera on a hand held crane, maybe somebody could tell which.

A: No. The Pocket supplies Phantom power on the mini XLR connector.

[0.03 lb] Got this to mount some s16 Zeiss Super Speeds to my BMPCC. Works wonderfully, and the camera keeps a very pro look so no one will freak out if you try to use the BMPCC as a b-cam on set. There were definitely tolerance issues when I mounted lenses that had been adapted to PL mount. But when I tried out and purchased lenses that were factory PL mounts they fit like a glove. I'd blame the after market lens adaptations and not this Wooden Camera mount I ended up going with the Wooden Camera cage too, just for the extra support that this mount offers from connecting to it as will as the camera's mount. I felt like just the MFT mount on the camera could allow for a little play. 5

[0.03 lb] Mounts a T5 or T7 drive very securely and very easily. This mount can really clamp down if needed and takes up very little space - it also weighs almost nothing! 5

[0.03 lb] Using this to hold the Samsung T7 drives. Does a good job of keeping it secure. The USB-C connector clamp works well too. With some moderate tugging tests, everything stays in place. If you don't have or don't want to attach this to a cold shoe the included 1/4 20 screw gives you additional mounting options. Occasionally when I use my BMPCC 6k Pro on a gimble I usually remove it from it's cage to lighten the load. That 1/4 20 screw lets me temporarily mount it right to top of the camera without the need for the full rig. 5

[0.03 lb] I tried to use the T5 SSD with the SmallRig BMPCC 6K PRO cage. The SSD was slipping out and making noise. I simply mounted the T5/T7 Mount on the cage and the problem was resolved. The SSD and the USB-C cable are secured. I can quickly mount and remove the drive. 5

[0.03 lb] This was a great fit for my Black Magic Pocket Camera, even withouth the shims that you get with the Pro versionf for $ more. Maybe I was just lucky that it worked with the old Canon 8-64mm Super 16 lens I wanted to use, can't speak for other 16mm lenses. 5

[0.03 lb] The Smallrig cage has a slot at the bottom for a Samsung drive but that's not a great location if you're doing any handheld work. I used this to put the drive above the camera. Secure hold. 5
