This gray 160-liter capacity Eylar SRC-160 Crossover Roto-Molded Cargo Case Grayis built lightweight and strong, making it perfect for outdoor productions, travel, or adventure. Its stackable design allows you to stack two or more of these cases. Strapping anchor slots on all four sides allow the cases to be tied down for secure transport with top access to the lid. This case features padded side handles, a 220-pound load capacity, water resistance, and heat resistance up to 212°F.

Q: 1. Will I be able to check this bag and not pay oversize fee at airport. Most airlines use L, W, H, total of 62 inches and under as not oversized. Also I have a 38 slider, will this fit in the case?

A: This design is an extremely annoying 1.5 beyond the oversize limit. I've checked it twice without being charged anything extra. But I'm just waiting for a stickler check-in agent to ruin my streak with a $200 oversize fee...

Q: 2. Will this fit a 40" c-stand with the base detached?

A: It will not fit a 40" c stand even with the base removed.

Q: 3. I am interested in the SKB Roto-Molded Tripod Case (24 Tall). Would two tripods (each under 23 inches tall) and two ball heads not attached fit in this case?

A: Hi Lynette, It depends on the diameter of the tripod legs to judge if you have enough room for the two ball heads. If you have tripods for still cameras most likely they will fit as they tend to be smaller than tripods for video. Two tripods each under 23 inches should fit no problem unless the diameter of the legs closed is over 6 per tripod. To verify you could use a piece of gaffers tape and tape the the two tripods together and measure. Thank you,Will

Q: 4. Does this have a strong plastic or PBA type smell when purchased new?

A: There is little to no odor emitting from this case when it is new.

Q: 5. Are the size specs listed on B&H for the 34 case accurate (38.25 x 12.75 x 14.00 and 15lbs)? As stated, it would appear this is slightly bulkier and heavier then the 37 model.

A: Hi Shaun, That is correct. The reasoning for that is the 37 tripod case (1SKB-R3709W) has a diameter of 9 vs. the 1SKB-R3411W which has a diameter of 11 . In production they used a touch more plastic in the 1SKB-R3411W which put the weight of the 1SKB-R3411W tripod to 15 lbs. Thank you,Will

Q: 6. I have a tripod that's 38 long and about 9 wide. I'm wondering how much foam is in either end of this 41 SKB case (1SKB-R4111W) and whether or not I would be better off with the 42 case (1SKB-R4209W) that's longer but only 9 wide (the 41 is 11 wide)... would that one be too tight a fit width wise I wonder? Any thoughts?

A: I just measured the inside of the case and with the foam on the top and bottom you only have about 37 of space length wise.

A: Yes, it sure will.

Q: 8. Will this fit the secced reach 4 kit, tripod and fluid head?

A: This case can fit a tripod with a fluid head which measures no more than 46" in total length.

Q: 9. Anyone know if it will fit the Westcott 32inch Rapid Box duo collapsible beauty dish with a compact tripod? Is it perfectly cylindrical inside?

A: It's more of an octagon.

[Latch] I couldn't be happier with this case. It's very well built and has plenty of room inside with padded a top and bottom. The only downside is that there's no way to lock to top to the case base. Otherwise, great piece. 5

[Handle] I bought this for a Miller 1737 system tripod and fluid head. Fits like an charm. Thick-walled construction. Haven't put too many miles on it yet, so I can't say how the wheels will hold up over the long-term. Not mentioned in the description, but does need to be pointed out: This tripod case is like most others, in that it is adjustable, and should accommodate tripods from 42 UP TO 46. Not sure why that was overlooked in the original description, but is worth noting. 5
