Q: 1. How long is this ??? it does not say.

A: about 9 inches

Q: 2. Does this bag sit flat on the ground or does it tip over? I hav e a 5D MK IV with70-200 and two other lenses and I hate bags that when sitting on the ground/table the fall over.

A: This bag sits flat.

Q: 3. Does this bag have room a Nikon Zf with the Nikkor Z 40, Nikkor Z 85, and Nikkor Z 20mm lenses? TIA!

A: Unfortunately no, the Billingham Hadley Pro Camera Bag is too small to fit the items you listed.

Q: 4. Will a 5d mark iii fit in this bag with the lens attached?

A: The bottom of the bag measures 4 by 13 inches. I fit my D7200 with a zoom lens 18/300 mm attached plus two more lenses into my Billingham bag.

Q: 5. What is the width of the strap ???

A: Hi--the shoulder strap is 1.75" wide.

Q: 6. Can I get a Fuji Xt2, 23mm f/2, 16-55mm f/2.8, 16mm f1.4, 18-135mm in this bag?

A: Hi Melinda,I have three of the Billingham Bags, love them! I believe the small would be indeed too small for the equipment you have listed. I believe you would be much happier with the Hadley Pro.

Q: 7. Will this fit a Nikon D7000 with 24-70/f2.8 lens and a Nikon 70-210/f4-5.6?

A: This bag will not fit that equipment set up, my apologies. I would go with the next size up called the Billingham Hadley Pro Shoulder Bag.Website link: http://bhpho.to/1m6mFJm

Q: 8. Can it fit Macbook Pro 13 inch (old model Late 2011) ?Do I need to take out the soft pad inside in order to fit my laptop or I can just simply take out divider ?

A: I do not have a MacBook Pro 13 but I do have a MacBook Air 13 2012. My Air measures a max length of 12 3/4 , a max width of 9 and a thickness of 1/2 .My Hadley Pro contains the padded insert container where one places the lenses and camera and it is filled with four lenses and a Fuji X-T1 camera with attached lens.If I try to fit my MacBook Air 13 - between the insert container and the back of the bag, the fit is very tight, not impossible, but tight. I suspect, but I'm not sure, that a MacBook Pro 13 would have larger dimensions than the MacBook Air 13 and thus the fit would probably be much tighter. I would say that if you take out the padded insert container that the MacBook Pro 13 would fit, but you then have a laptop bag for which you could purchase a much cheaper unit.Hope my answer assist you. Q: 9. Will this insert fit in a Hadley Small Bag.The bag dimensions seem to be able to accommodate this insert or is there another one that works better? Thanks, LG

A: I'm not sure what insert you're talking about but the one that comes with it works well for my 88mm Nikon zoom lens and my prime.

Q: 10. Is the cotton canvas waterproof?

A: 100% waterproof. The canvas is bonded with rubber in a sandwich.

[Yes] Great bag. Fits my Fuji Xt1 with 56 lens attached, along with my 23 and 14 kit perfectly. Still have room for sun glasses, ipad mini, wallet and other gadgets. Not too big and not too small a bag. Very comfortable to carry all day long.

[Yes] The bag is just the right size for the SLR camera I just bought, with eanogh room for few more things like an extra lens, cards, batarie, ect,.Love the looks and comfertable size, even though before it arived I thought it would be somewhat bigger. The price is somewhat on the high end, but the bag seem to be very well made and I hope to use it for a verylong time in all sort of weather conditions. It seems like it can do the job.

[Yes] It's expensive alright....but the quality is top notch, if you're willing to splurge on a camera bag Billingham is the way to go. Perfect smedium size for mirrorless!

[Yes] I like to go light (weight and size). I have a small Billingham 72 for my Fuji X-E3 and absolutely love it. However, it will not hold an extra lens, so I moved up a notch to this S2 and it fits my needs perfectly. The styling, craftsmanship, and quality all go without saying. For me the downsides are two: The front pocket will not hold much and does not have a separate closure (just a top center snap). Second, I prefer the fully open style top of the smaller 72, whereas this S2 has a zipper closure under the cover making for an extra step and the camera does not slide in and out as easily as with the fully open top of the 72. However, these are minor personal preferences, and I would still buy this bag again.

[Yes] I own the Hadley Pro and was unable to arrange the interior to fit 2 or 3 Fujifilm X-T1 cameras with larger zooms attached (plus the usual extras).  The Pro simply was not wide enough.  This problem was overcome with the design of the Billingham S4 bag.  Although both bags have roughly the same exterior dimensions, the S4 is easily configured for my needs.  As expected, both bags feature the quality and attention to detail this manufacturer is known for.  Now all I have to do is live long enough to wear out them out.

[Yes] Carries my digital SLR with a couple of lenses and is very well protected. It is easy to get the equipment in and out of the bag.

[Yes] I have three Billingham bags; a Leica Combination (my favorite for a Leica and three lenses) a Hadley Pro (my Nikon SLR and four lenses) and then this S4. I use this S4 when I am photographing events and want to have multiple bodies so I dont have to change lenses as much. I like that it is wider than the Hadley Pro, as I often like to use external finders on my Leicas, and for that, the Hadley is a little too narrow. When I use this bag I often have an M6 with a 28mm lens, an M4 with a 50mm lens, and then an FM2 with a 180mm and a 105mm. This allows me to work quickly and respond to changing environments. the front pouch is large enough for filters, a light meter, and some film, but I feel that it is just a hair too narrow. I really like the larger pockets of the Pro and the Leica bag better in that regard. A shoulder strap is really a must for this bag if you have it loaded out and are carrying it for more a while. I also like how this bag has a zipper that you can use to keep dust or prying hands from reaching in. It also has a design that lets you tuck the zipper out of the way when you need to move more quickly. The zipper and this tuck feature are nice and also the two main downsides of this bag. Because of the zipper, this bag is a bit less waterproof then say the Pro or the Leica bag which have a top flap completely covering the opening and in S.E. Asia downpours have kept my gear completely dry.  I fear that if I was using this bag in that kind of environment that the zippers are the area where water can enter the bag from the side. The other downside is that when you have the zippers tucked away, there is an opening on the sides that can let in a lot of dust. I love this bag and have enjoyed using it over the past 1.5 years when I have a specific event that I am photographing. For a daily bag and a travel bag when I am carrying it all day, I take the Leica bag, and the Pro is for when I am using my SLR and need to take my 180mm or 300mm lens.

[Yes] I love this bag. It carries my Olympus Pen f camera, three lenses, and the flash and an extra battery. Not only is it so convenient, it is also remarkably stylish.

[Yes] This bag is simply amazing. I had an average shoulder bag for a long time; I bought a bigger shoulder bag when I upgraded my equipment (quantity and quality). However, I faced a problem: walking around with the gigantic shoulder bag was both impractical and unobtrusive. I watched a lot of backpack reviews and other types of shoulder bags, andBillinghamintrigued me. Both stylish, built to last and protect in all kinds of conditions, I was interested. The price was a bit prohibitive, but I thought that with the quality of this product, it could perhaps last me a whole life. Plus, I wanted something that is safe for my gear.

Having finally decided to buy it, I must admit that when I received it, the bag exceeds my expectations in terms of quality, beauty and padding to protect all my equipment. I have inserted all the material I need and even more. There is plenty of room to put everything I need.

For reference, currently in the bag, there is a Canon 7D Mark II + Battery Grip with the lens 24-105 mm, a 85mm f/2 manual, a 50mm f/1.4, a 24mm f/2.8 and finally a 70- 300 mm. On the outside sleeve, I placed Canon Speedlite 600EX II-RT, some 4 x 6 filters, 5 batteries and the charger. An AA / AAA battery charger and finally some SD and CF cards.

[Yes] I really wanted this bag to work, but it was just to small. Coming from a Kata/Manfrotto bag which has multiple pockets and compartments and could hold my equipment... the Billingham bag was just not big enough. It was an awesome bag, quality materials, and looked very sharp... just wasnt big wnough and needed to be returned.
