Carbon fiber leg tube diameters of 1.6/1.4/1.3/1.1" ensure stable support.

3-leg angle stops at 23, 55, and 85°.

The tripod ships with stainless steel spikes for outdoor shooting whether it is on soft ground or sand.

There are vent holes inside the leg tubes that ensure efficient air inflow and exhaust when pulling or pushing back the leg tubes in order to extend and fold the tripod swiftly and smoothly.

Lever lock design ensures swift locking and easy operation.

Ball head embedded in the apex of the tripod offers a low center of gravity and provides better stability.

The 47.5° tilting angle prevents the tripod from side tumbling due to over loaded equipment.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the width of the leveling base of the #2 tortoise?

A: The Benro Tortoise Columnless #2 Carbon Fiber Tripod base mount diameter is 60mm.

Q: 2. This compatible with the 502 AH video head?

A: No not right out of the box. The 502 AH has a flat base and the 536 Carbon Tripod has a bowl mount @ either 100mm or 75mm with an adapter. So if you could adapt the 502 to a 100 or 75mm bowl base then you could theoretically use this tripod as long as there are no wierd obstructions or pieces oriented in incompatible places.

Q: 3. Can I attach a Manfrotto 488RC2 ball head to this tripod?

A: Yes, this tripod is compatible with a Manfrotto 488RC2 ball head.

Q: 4. Can I attach the Manfrotto MVH500AH fluid head?

A: Yes

Q: 5. Does it have a hook on the bottom of the center column to hang a bag?

A: I'm sorry, no.

Q: 6. Would the RRS 55H work on this tripod? And would suggest this or the manfrotto 055 for using with a sigma 150-600?

A: Yes. The Sirui W-2204 Waterproof Carbon Fiber Tripod is compatible with the RRS BH-55 head. The Sirui is waterproof, taller, and lighter weight than the Manfrotto 055. Both would be fine for use with the 150-600 lens.

Q: 7. where is this tripod made at?

A: The Manfrotto 190go! Carbon Fiber M-Series Tripod country of origin is Italy.

Q: 8. Does this have screw in feet so I can use spikes?

A: No it does not sadly.

Q: 9. What type of rifle clamp will fit on the ball head? Is it universal or is it specific to brand?

A: The Sunwayfoto T3240CS 4-Section Carbon Fiber Shooting Tripod (BH # SUT3240CS) fits M-LOK QR Plates & Arca Adapters. 3/8 & 1/4" sockets are available for additional gear. This should work: Leofoto GS-3 Rifle Clamp (B&H # LEGS3): https://bhpho.to/4egLME4

Q: 10. Could the spike be removed and use with Gitzo or RRS craw feet for using on ice lake surface?

A: The feet are interchangable, but where other manufactures use 3/8-16 imperial thread (or 1/4-20 with 3LT), Sirui have used M10x1 on this tripod. To fit alternative feet (I was after longer spikes) I used the 3LT feet (for the smaller thread) and got a thread adaptor machined. You may be able to find an adaptor off-the-shelf, but be aware there are M10x1 and M10x1.25 standards which may both be labelled as M10 Fine .

[28" / 71 cm] Works smooth. Came with an adapter for 1/4 tripod mount to get webcam up to eye level on crowded desktop. Had to order 3/8F to 1/4M adapter to mount webcam on top. Other than wishing it came with the adapter, great price for very useful item.

[4] In Florida we do a lot of bird photography in nature centers like Wakodahatchee or Green Cay. Basically boardwalks with guard rails through swampy areas. I screw the top of tube directly into the foot of my long lenses, adjust the lenght and place the bottom of the adjustable extension tube on top of the railing to provide substantial support for the considerable weight of the Nikon D850 with battery grip, with long lenses like my 600mm f/4 and 1.4 XT/c. For prolonged shooting at stationary subjects ( like nesting or courting birds) it provides a much more stabile support than a monopod and is certainly more maneuverable than either a monopod or tripod. I leave the tube attached while I walk around the boardwalk. Of course, it depends on how tall you are. At 6' it is ideal for me, but the tube would be too long for someone considerable shorter. Also I found inserting a rubberized foot on the bottom of the tube increased the stability of the rig. I use an extra rubber foot from a RRS tripod that screws directly into the bottom of the tube, but anything from a hardware store would do. I think you will find this will work if you do similar shooting.

[4] I know there are better/more expensive tripods out there. After speaking with customer service, we came up with three that would work for my situation. I am very happy with it and look forward to using it for years to come.

[28" / 71 cm] Excellent little "0" Series tripod. Purchased for use with a small Kowa TSN-501 55mm spotting scope for children to use at Birding - Eagle Festival's.
A nice, very lightweight outfit. Well made out of high end materials! Fit and finish is excellent! An excellent dollar value at B&H Photo's selling price!
So pleased with its quality, workmanship, and fit & finish! I hope to be ordering a second one within the next few months for a second Kowa 55mm spotting scope I own.

[28" / 71 cm] I now own five(5) of these travel tripods. I purchased them for use with small 65mm Spotting Scopes for a Youth Birding Program, and Demo use. (I am a part time Birding Guide.) So far these tripods have worked out very well. Light and compact, and fairly easy for kids, and teens to carry around.Unfortunately the most recent one’s I purchased have cost me $30.00 more each than the original ones I purchased from B&H last year!. Personally; i feel they have gone up TOO much in price! Obviously I like them. Fortunately; I now have all I need. But, at the current price. I’m glad I don’t need anymore. Because I’m not willing to pay the increase in cost of them. [When B&H has Sales on Benro-Induro carbon fiber tripods? They are just as good, If not better!
And they are less money!] It’s unfortunate they raised the price so much on these nice Sunwayfoto travel tripods! Only you can determine weather the cost increase is worth purchasing one?

[Carbon Fiber] Really nice tripod. It locks in a 22lb precision rifle no problem and holds it rock solid. The quick release levers are very convenient. The ball head is a little smaller than I expected but it's still really strong. If you can afford it I'd recommend spending and extra $110 and getting the master series with a 65 IB head.
