Q: 1. Can someone at B&H physically weigh this tripod in response to the multiple weights mentioned in the Q&A?

A: The weight of the Sirui A1205 Carbon Fiber Tripod with Y-11 Ball Head is 2.82 lbs, according to the Sirui website.

Q: 2. Can I switch the ball head to the K-20X?

A: It is packaged with the Y-11 head. The head is removable & A K-20 will fit. If you don't already own a K-20, why not try it with the Y-11 first. It may be just what you need.

Q: 3. Is the a light weight gimbal head that I can use with this tripod? I use a micro four thirds set up.

A: The Benro TSL08CN00 Slim Carbon-Fiber Tripod with Ball Head only supports 8.8 pounds so it would not be recommended for use with a gimbal head.

Q: 4. Where can I find replacement stops for this tripod?

A: You can use the following replacement leg stops for Benro TSL08CN00 Slim Carbon-Fiber Tripod with Ball Head. MeFOTO SMBP Replacement Leg Stops for BackPacker Classic S Tripod (3 Sets of 4 Shims) BH #MESMBP • MFR #SMBP https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1493738-REG/mefoto_smbp_leg_stops_for_backpacker.html

Q: 5. will this carry heavy dslrs? also is this durable for like mud wind snow rain hail lakes intense rivers and hiking? thanks

A: This Benro Slim tripod is rated at a maximum load capacity of 8.8 lb and will hold whatever cameras, lenses, flashes, etc. that you have below that weight limit. Because it is also a slim carbon-fiber tripod it is not very stabilized in heavy wind, snow, rain, hail, rivers etc. Take a look at B&H # BETAD28CB2 as an alternative.

Q: 6. Will this support my Canon 5dMark IV with a 24-105mm lens in portrait mode without creeping?

A: We would say you should not have any issue of the ball head moving once locked. If you are doing a lot of vertical shooting, you should consider using an L bracket. Kirk BL-5D4 L-Bracket for Canon 5D Mark IV B&H # KIBL5D4. This will fit directly into the clamp on the ball head.

Q: 7. Could anyone please confirm the statement I got from the review of other source of this product "My tripod came apart while in use. The threads holding the ballhead mounting plate to the tripod are made of plastic, and they pulled apart.?

A: The threads holding the qr clamp are metal as well as the bottom threads of the ball head.

Q: 8. What diameter half ball adapter does TSL08CN00 take? I want to use a small fluid head on occasion am looking for a lightweight compact adapter to make leveling easier. Thanks!

A: The CF is the same: 3/8 post with a 1 1/2 base.

Q: 9. Is the included ball head the same as the Benro IN00 ball head?

A: It has the N00 ball head, which is similar but not exactly the same as the IN00. Works just fine on mine.

      Q: 10. Will this tripod set up hold a canon 5d markiii with 24-70 2.8 L or a 70-200 2.8 L lens with out creeping?

A: This tripod is ideal if there's no wind. If it's windy even very little you can not take long exposure shots with your listed equipment.

[Yes] I purchased this tripod for an upcoming backpacking trip to SE Asia. I wanted something light and durable that didn't take up a bunch of room. This thing seems to tick all the boxes! Feels durable and stable, while at the same time light as a feather. The detachable monopod is a game changer for me when I'm filming and for steady shots doing street photography. The twist style locks on the legs seem like the could be a hair better, but no real complaints! Definitely give this tripod a try if you're looking for an awesome travel tripod and don't want to spend $300-$600 for the other guys!

[4] Light, good quality, collapses to a pretty small size, and extends to a very tall size. Keep in mind that it is pretty wobbly when it's fully extended, but it shouldn't be an issue if you're shooting with a remote trigger.

[Yes] This is my first carbon fiber tripod and it's working fine so far, I bought it for my trip to Mexico, and so far is working as it should, light, sturdy and good looking.

[7.865 lb] A sturdy, lightweight tripod that's tall enough for astrophotography and can be configured to get the camera down low, too. Easily converts to a monopod that's long enough to keep me from straining my back. Nice case, too.

[Twist Lock] I have an A7Rv with some chunky lenses. This tripod handles everything like a champ! I have absolutely no hesitation loading this down with gear.

The Good:
Height!!! This thing goes WAY higher than I need. It's truly laughable; but is still solid.

The Meh:
The ball head works. The is slight sag when you're locking down the angle. But it's no worse (and likely better) than any other tripod with sag issues. I guess if you want to avoid clamping sag, you'll need to spring for a high-end ball head. But the tripod itself is a very decent performer.

The Conclusion:
I think I got this on sale for close to $100 (Maybe $110??). It seems like is constantly on sale.
Around $100, this is a no-brainer. At the listed price of $139, there are a few others that I would consider (3 Legged Things, SmallRig, Benro). I like this Neewer much better than the similar K&F.

It's a good studio-style tripod that's good for anything except long distance hiking. I'm loving it so far.
