Silicone lock grips do not slip even with sweating hands and provide a comfortable handgrip.

There are vent holes inside the leg tubes that ensure efficient air inflow and exhaust when pulling or pushing back the leg tubes in order to extend and fold the tripod swiftly and smoothly.

Sealed twist locks effectively prevent water, sand, or dust from entering the locks and the tubes.

The hollowed out tripod apex provides high-quality carbon fiber tubes, ensuring the tripod is easily carried on the road.

The counterweight hook under the apex allows you to hang a bag or backpack to further stabilize the tripod in windy conditions.

Carbon leg tube diameters of 1.5/1.4/1.3/1.1" ensuring stable support.

3-leg angle stops at 23, 55, and 85°.

Rubber feet provides stability on smooth surfaces and protects the floor it is on from scratches.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have a Peak Design Capture plate on my camera. Is this tripod compatible with that plate?

A: Yes! :) Both Peak Design and this tripod use the arca-swiss system.

Q: 2. Will this be a good tripod for a Nikon D750 + Tamron 15-30mm G2? Approx 1960g. I do mainly (like 99.99%) vertical shots.

A: Yes and No. Tripod legs will hold fine, but not the head. Get a better tripod head like the K-20 II or K-30 II, and pair it with a L Bracket for vertical shots.

Q: 3. Does the head mounting area on this tripod have set screws to insure the head does not loosen in use?

A: Yes, Sirui R2204 Carbon Fiber Tripod has one safety screw on the center column base mount.

Q: 4. Is the a light weight gimbal head that I can use with this tripod? I use a micro four thirds set up.

A: The Benro TSL08CN00 Slim Carbon-Fiber Tripod with Ball Head only supports 8.8 pounds so it would not be recommended for use with a gimbal head.

Q: 5. Can the center column be removed and the head attached directly to the apex of the legs? This tripod has a 2-section center column. Can the top section of the center column be removed and the head attached to the bottom section of the center column?

A: Unfortunately not. This is not a systematic tripod and will not allow for the head to mount directly to the legs.

Q: 6. What is the total weight of the tripod and the ball head?

A: Mine weighed in at 3.01 lbs. The description is misleading as it implies that the system only weighs 2.2 lbs. Even the legs alone weighed 2.4 lbs. The ball head weighed about 0.6 lbs.

Q: 7. I have a Peak Design Capture Plate on my camera. Is that plate compatible with with Tripod?

A: Yes! :) Both Peak Design and this tripod use the arca-swiss system.

Q: 8. Will my Manfrotto 488RC2 head work on this tripod?

A: Yes, the Manfrotto 488RC2 head will mount on the Sirui A1205 Carbon Fiber Tripod with Y-11 Ball Head once the ball head is removed. It will mount with the 3/8"-16 threading found on both the tripod and the head.

Q: 9. Could anyone please confirm the statement I got from the review of other source of this product "My tripod came apart while in use. The threads holding the ballhead mounting plate to the tripod are made of plastic, and they pulled apart.?

A: The threads holding the qr clamp are metal as well as the bottom threads of the ball head.

Q: 10. Will this support my Canon 5dMark IV with a 24-105mm lens in portrait mode without creeping?

A: We would say you should not have any issue of the ball head moving once locked. If you are doing a lot of vertical shooting, you should consider using an L bracket. Kirk BL-5D4 L-Bracket for Canon 5D Mark IV B&H # KIBL5D4. This will fit directly into the clamp on the ball head.

[26.8" / 68.1 cm] I have an A7Rv with some chunky lenses. This tripod handles everything like a champ! I have absolutely no hesitation loading this down with gear.

The Good:
Height!!! This thing goes WAY higher than I need. It's truly laughable; but is still solid.

The Meh:
The ball head works. The is slight sag when you're locking down the angle. But it's no worse (and likely better) than any other tripod with sag issues. I guess if you want to avoid clamping sag, you'll need to spring for a high-end ball head. But the tripod itself is a very decent performer.

The Conclusion:
I think I got this on sale for close to $100 (Maybe $110??). It seems like is constantly on sale.
Around $100, this is a no-brainer. At the listed price of $139, there are a few others that I would consider (3 Legged Things, SmallRig, Benro). I like this Neewer much better than the similar K&F.

It's a good studio-style tripod that's good for anything except long distance hiking. I'm loving it so far.

[26.8" / 68.1 cm] A sturdy, lightweight tripod that's tall enough for astrophotography and can be configured to get the camera down low, too. Easily converts to a monopod that's long enough to keep me from straining my back. Nice case, too.

[26.8" / 68.1 cm] I was a little skeptical at first. I wanted to keep the size and weight to a minimum without giving up quality and this tripod has proven to be an effective tool in the field after testing. It allows for a trinity lens system, one Sony camera, tripod, plus accessories in a small backpack (see photo), all coming in under 12 lb. (a little over 5 kilos). The tripod can be extended to nearly 60, but I use that level only to stabilize my 70-180 lens. The three foot level and below gives you maximum self-stability, which works fine for me. I can put a 10 lb. ballast bag under with 3-5 pounds of camera on top with confidence. Kudos to K&F, I think the overall design was pretty well thought out. Thanks B&H!

[26.8" / 68.1 cm] This is my first carbon fiber tripod and it's working fine so far, I bought it for my trip to Mexico, and so far is working as it should, light, sturdy and good looking.

[26.8" / 68.1 cm] I purchased this tripod for an upcoming backpacking trip to SE Asia. I wanted something light and durable that didn't take up a bunch of room. This thing seems to tick all the boxes! Feels durable and stable, while at the same time light as a feather. The detachable monopod is a game changer for me when I'm filming and for steady shots doing street photography. The twist style locks on the legs seem like the could be a hair better, but no real complaints! Definitely give this tripod a try if you're looking for an awesome travel tripod and don't want to spend $300-$600 for the other guys!

[26.8" / 68.1 cm] Light, good quality, collapses to a pretty small size, and extends to a very tall size. Keep in mind that it is pretty wobbly when it's fully extended, but it shouldn't be an issue if you're shooting with a remote trigger.
