Sealed twist locks effectively prevent water, sand, or dust from entering the locks and the tubes.

The hollowed out tripod apex provides high-quality carbon fiber tubes, ensuring the tripod is easily carried on the road.

The counterweight hook under the apex allows you to hang a bag or backpack to further stabilize the tripod in windy conditions.

Carbon leg tube diameters of 1.5/1.4/1.3/1.1" ensuring stable support.

3-leg angle stops at 23, 55, and 85°.

[9.115 lb] A sturdy, lightweight tripod that's tall enough for astrophotography and can be configured to get the camera down low, too. Easily converts to a monopod that's long enough to keep me from straining my back. Nice case, too.

[26.2" / 66.5 cm] Light, good quality, collapses to a pretty small size, and extends to a very tall size. Keep in mind that it is pretty wobbly when it's fully extended, but it shouldn't be an issue if you're shooting with a remote trigger.

[26.2" / 66.5 cm] I have an A7Rv with some chunky lenses. This tripod handles everything like a champ! I have absolutely no hesitation loading this down with gear.

The Good:
Height!!! This thing goes WAY higher than I need. It's truly laughable; but is still solid.

The Meh:
The ball head works. The is slight sag when you're locking down the angle. But it's no worse (and likely better) than any other tripod with sag issues. I guess if you want to avoid clamping sag, you'll need to spring for a high-end ball head. But the tripod itself is a very decent performer.

The Conclusion:
I think I got this on sale for close to $100 (Maybe $110??). It seems like is constantly on sale.
Around $100, this is a no-brainer. At the listed price of $139, there are a few others that I would consider (3 Legged Things, SmallRig, Benro). I like this Neewer much better than the similar K&F.

It's a good studio-style tripod that's good for anything except long distance hiking. I'm loving it so far.

[26.2" / 66.5 cm] I purchased this tripod for an upcoming backpacking trip to SE Asia. I wanted something light and durable that didn't take up a bunch of room. This thing seems to tick all the boxes! Feels durable and stable, while at the same time light as a feather. The detachable monopod is a game changer for me when I'm filming and for steady shots doing street photography. The twist style locks on the legs seem like the could be a hair better, but no real complaints! Definitely give this tripod a try if you're looking for an awesome travel tripod and don't want to spend $300-$600 for the other guys!
