[34x FRS] I’ve been able to put these bad boys to the test on trails and at work in some snowy mountains. The battery life is CONSIDERABLY better than previous handhelds I have used in the past. 10/10!

[Yes, 9 Levels] These are worth every penny. They work exactly as described and are perfect for backcountry skiing and splitboarding. Great range and audio quality

[5 VDC] It's exactly what I wanted. I can charge it in my Wrangler, at home or with my solar panel out at camp. Minimal interference or issues with transmission.

[34x FRS] I purchase a pair of the GXT1030. Plan on using them at the MOORE Expo along with my MXT500. Radios both were charged upon receipt, the granddaughter and I had a little using them at the park. Radios work great. It would be nice if there were a charging cable that would fit the USB C port on the MXT500 for ease of charging in the Jeep.

[10x NOAA] Fantastic quality! Had these on for easily 10hrs straight and battery still showed full. Only criticism is the ear pieces do not easily go over the ear.

[Built-In, Fixed] I debated between these and the Midland GXT1000vp4 for quite a while since these are actually more expensive than the more powerful GXT1000vp4. However, I didn't need more than 1/2 mile range and being able to charge the battery with a standard USB cable along with the fast charge of 3 - 4 hours for the
X-Talker T77VP5 was the reason I picked them. I'm glad I did because I've had no issues at all with range (as I mentioned I'm not using them for more than 1/2 mile) and they last all day long. I don't know why Midland doesn't use this battery technology in their other products, but unless you need the extra range that more watts provides, these should be your choice.

[Yes, 9 Levels] After much searching we chose to replace the
handheld's for use between cars. This radio was chosen because the controls are on the hand held-mike so the main
unit can be placed anywhere in our small cars.
With just the included small antenna I could communicate with a
like unit over a hill and at about 1/4 mile out-of-sight through large trees and when out-of-sight through housing. This was also on the lower channels which I understand to be of a lower output. Clarity is also very good. Menu driven setup is a bit hard to do

[10x NOAA] I bought this for use on the farm so the wife and I could maintain contact when chasing our kids around. Works great, with no issues on our 200 AC property.
