This formfitting Sirui Camera Cage Sony ZV-E1 Compact Rigfrom Sirui Camera Cage Sony ZV-E1 Compact Rigprotects your Sony ZV-E1 camera without impeding access to your camera's functions, displays, ports, or battery. The camera mounts onto the cage via a 1/4"-20 screw, a side lock prevents the camera from twisting, and it features silicone padding on the bottom to protect and secure the camera. A removable, silicone handgrip on the right side provides a solid, ergonomic grip when shooting handheld. To protect your cables from pulling, an HDMI cable clamp is included.

The cage incorporates multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 anti-twist threads and a shoe mount on the top for a light or microphone. The bottom of the cage features an integrated Arca-type plate and it is tapped with multiple 1/4"-20 mounting threads for tripod mounting. An additional Arca-type/Manfrotto combo quick release plate is also included for added compatibility with fluid heads. There are strap slots on the sides so you can add a separately available wrist or neck strap, and a screwdriver stores in the base.

A: Iâm pretty sure they copied most of the description from the A7S III, and forgot to remove the 4K 120fps from the description. Iâm sure this camera is technically capable of it, but only for like less than a minute before it overheats, so they likely have a sub firmware that limits it to 60FPS in 4K. Even the much larger A7S III overheats in those high frame rates, which is why the FX3 exists - it has a fan.

A: No, the ZVE-1 has a 12-megapixel sensor. So it can not record in 6k. So no downsampling.

[Sony ZV-E1] Even with only 2 points of connection on the camera, this cage feels very securely attached. has lots of useful mounting points. Extra grip on the handle is a plus too! 5

[0.975 lb] This case gives many attachments for 1/4 inch and 3/4 inch screw mounts, two extra coldshoe mounts, a very nice wooden handle grip, and even a built in adaptor on the bottom to easily slide into many compatible tripods without needing to screw in a Tripod mount adaptor. I looked at many cages before purchasing this one and this one had the most features while also looking and feeling premium. This increases the functionality of my Z V-1 greatly and makes me want to use it even more 5

[0.975 lb] This cage really makes this camera look and feel like a proper Micro Cine camera. I've been using the included top handle as a side handle, which works really well but looks a little funky. 5

[Sony ZV-E1] Doesn't add much bulk. Just make sure you slide the camera all the way in before tightening the screw, otherwise you won't be able to access the battery/card door. 5

[8.6 x 6 x 3.5"] Great fit and great looking! The wooden handle is a perfect size and cage adds another level of protection from a drop to camera. I had one drop already and do not want to experience another one. ZV-1 feels safer! 5

[Sony ZV-E1] I purchased Sony ZV-1 for its portability, but it's so small for my large hand that holding such a small camera became quite awkward. This UURig Cage solved that problem very nicely. It's light yet solidly built and well designed. All the access to camera ports and the flip screen function are unhindered. With its built in threads, I can attach other accessories. The built in cold shoe is perfectly placed for attaching my directional mic. 5

[Single Handgrip] Very good price. It gives a decent grip. The cage is light weight, good looking, add protection and the possibility to use a fill light and a microphone at the same time. I wish the RX100vii version was in a similar price bracket. It has an Arca plate at the bottom, to be quickly mounted on tripods, and provides many mounting options. The only con is that it requires an Allen key to be installed or removed, so if you are in the field and would like to unmount the camera you need to carry an allen key with you. But this cage allows removing the battery, memory cards, and access to all ports while it is mounted. So there is not really much need to remove the cage. 5
