[0.655 lb] SSD7101A-1 is a great card. I installed 4x Samsung 970 EVO+ to be used for rendering and I get 13,000 MB/s. A motherboard with 16x lanes is best for performance. It does come with a RAID software. 5

[Low Profile] Really happy with my purchase, rocksolid performance and affordable price. I did have some difficulty putting in a Blackmagic Mini Monitor 4k card though, as the card is designed to sit in a tower so I needed to modify the card slightly to fit. Now that it's in I'm getting amazing HDR 4K playback and couldn't be happier. 5

[Low Profile] Installed in a 2010 MacPro in a x4 PCIe slot. Needs the Mac driver available from HighPoint. Found that it works under MacOS from 10.6.8 up to 10.12.6, unlike the manufacturers specs. Real world data transfer is around 100mB/sec... about twice as fast as FW800. Only issue TBD is its durability using it daily for external HDD backups. W. Li 5

[0.655 lb] This is the best PCIe 16x housing you can find. I use it for Highpoint's SSD71xx RAID cards and am getting very fast read/write speeds. As I can control the fans with their software, the unit is extremely quiet. 5

[0.655 lb] Moving from my on board RAID controller to a dedicated card was a game changer. Using my motherboard in RAID 0 had no problem with Sequential reads/writes, but the random reads were painfully slow. I moved to a PCI riser card (Gigabytes Aorus) so I could have more drives and a possible bonus of the bifurcated PCI lanes would be a bit quicker. Same performance. I finally bit the bullet and picked up this card. It has been FLAWLESS. The random read performance is within spitting distance of a single drive. Absolutely thrilled with this setup. fwiw: Asus x399-e Gaming Threadripper 1950x 970 Evo Plus 1TB drives Now I just need to get PCI4 capable stuff together so I can really put it through its paces 5
