A: The light is nice and soft for an umbrella, but the tiny metal hinge points near the fabric are so weak and break easily. I like that it has the fiberglass rods, but the durability of the rods is pointless if the metal components break. I'm 50/50 on this product.

I am a little worried about it as the last model had a course and fine focus and I wanted this primarily for target shooting. Is the new swarovski type focus ring just as good as the old fine focus or should I look for another brand of scope? Thanks.

A: I have both and prefer the new focus ring. Smooth as silk and stays put once in focus. It also is much faster than the old style to focus. The optics are a tad bit better on the new one as well
