This FotodioX Stitching Adapter for FUJIFILM G-Mount Graflok Backfrom FotodioX Stitching Adapter for FUJIFILM G-Mount Graflok Backallows a FUJIFILM G-mount camera to serve as a digital back on a view camera that features a Graflok back. While in use, this adapter permits the creation of images in the landscape or portrait orientation. Images can be generated from individual captures. Alternatively, multiple captures that are aligned using the adapter's integrated sliding mechanism can be combined to create an image with an increased field of view and a larger file size using separately available stitching software.

The front of this adapter consists of an interface plate that mounts directly onto a Graflok back. The rear of the interface plate holds a sliding panel with a bayonet for a FUJIFILM G-mount camera. A FUJIFILM G-mount camera connected to the adapter can be placed in the landscape or portrait orientation by rotating the sliding panel's bayonet. The sliding panel can be shifted and aligned according to a three-point interval scale on the rear of the interface plate. The central point can be used to orient the camera to generate an image from a single capture. Without otherwise moving the camera or the view camera it is adapted to, three captures, one at each point of the interval scale, can later be combined to form an image with triple the field of view and horizontal resolution.

Alternatively, a secondary interval scale on the rear of the interface plate is specifically provided for use while a connected camera is in the landscape orientation. That interval scale can be used to generate two overlapping captures that can later be combined to form an image with 1.7x the field of view and horizontal resolution of a single image from a FUJIFILM G-mount camera.

Aluminum alloy locking knobs for the sliding panel and its rotatable bayonet allow each of those components to be firmly held in place during the capture process. To further enhance this adapter's durability, the rotatable bayonet, sliding panel, and the Graflok back-compatible interface plate are constructed from brass.

A: Yes, since the AF-D lenses have their own built-in aperture dial you can use those with this adapter. AF-P lenses will not be able to be focused nor to have their apertures adjusted with this adapter, however.

[9 x 6.1 x 2.8"] This is a very inexpensive Adapter and works flawless. My old Nikon F mount lenses work great with this adapter. After setting up the Fujifilm X-T5 camera, there is no problems. Well worth the price. 5

[1.27 lb] I use this on an Intrepid 4x5 camera with a 150mm lense and it works. Couldn't go any shorter without recessed lense boards. I need to use the rotating back rather than flip the adapter as the adaptor only fits one way due to its ridge and the groove on the camera back. I use it for both still life/product shots and landscapes. I think it's a good way into this style of photography. 5

[1.27 lb] Adapter feels great and locks firmly to the lens as well as the camera. No wiggle/play when adjusting the aperture on the few smaller Nikon lenses I own (28 and 50mm AI-S lenses). I have no qualms with full manual as I regularly also shoot with an FE2. I did wish they had put some kind of instruction on the box or in the package to show how to release the lens from the adapter: you slide the metal 'pin' back (towards the camera) and then you can turn the lens to release it. There is no real indication on the adapter that it slides in that direction and the roundness had me pushing and pulling up and down on it. But once you know that little trick, it's a cinch. 5

[Aluminum, Brass] I'm thrilled to be using my Nikon F-mount lenses on my Fuji X-E3. This "dumb" adaptor is just what I need to use my Nikkor & Voigtlander lenses on my X-mount digital camera. For the folks that say they can't fire the shutter, for Sony cameras, navigate to the Menu, Setup, Release without lens and Enable-it's that easy. 5

[1.27 lb] Works good. The focus on my lenses are a little stiff, and when focusing the mount moves ever so slightly. I am using old Nikkormat lenses from the 60s-70s. For stills it's no biggie. For video it's not very good for focus pulls. But for $20, and being able to use my old Nikon glass, I am more than happy. 5
