A: Hi -- It's me again. I've done the experiment. The Savage black muslin backdrop appears white in near infrared light, specifically 800-900nm. In other words, it reflects this light strongly rather than absorbing it. (It of course absorbs visible light which is why it looks black to us.) Anyway, my Savage black backdrop will not work for NIR photography if you expect an absorbing black background. I cannot say what it would look like at much longer wavelength, say beyond 2000nm.

[12.3 x 3.4 x 3"] It is an easy choice for a basic mouse pad. It sticks well to the wooden desk and doesn't slide around. It doesn't stand out with any unnecessary graphics, besides the subtle G in the corner. So it is an easy choice for an office environment. 5

[Rubber] This product works as intended. I needed a smaller footprint for a mouse pad to go on my sliding keyboard tray on my desk, and this fit the bill perfectly. It doesn't slide around during use and its a great surface to use my Logitech mice on. 5

I’ve been debating for a while if I wanted one, I’m not a gamer but I am a crafter and I’m on my computer all the time and this mouse pad is so comfortable. My wrists usually hurt after using the computer all day and this pad is helping relieve some of the pain. 5
