Q: 10. Hey guys, the green color of the Sage/Chocolate Billingham Hadley Pro bag on B&H's site looks muted or light. I was thinking it was a much darker green than this image portrays. Is it actually darker and how does the your bag's sage/chocolate combination appeal to you? I know the bag is well made and a great size for my needs. Thanks so much! V

A: After submitting my earlier answer, the picture for the small Hadley bag in this color combination represents reality a little better.a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1194579-REG/billingham_bi_503348_54_hadley_shoulder_bag_small.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1194579-REG/billingham_bi_503348_54_hadley_shoulder_bag_small.html/a

[Black] Very nice bag. Definitely the best I've owned for my M kit. Can fit two M bodies with lenses and a few other lenses. I was worried that the quick release tabs on the front would become loose and reduce the utility of the bag, but that doesn't seem to have happened yet. I'm definitely enjoying it.

[Universal] From the material to the workmanship this is a 5 star bag. Not quite at roomy as I'd like for my D700 and lenses its not Hadley's issue it all does not fit, they made a great photo bag and then its up to me to put what will fit in it. Pockets are roomy, inside is adjustable and very user friendly. No problem for your DSLR and 2-3 lenses as long as one isnt a 70-200 or similar size. Hadley makes wonderful bags.

[Universal] The Hadley Pro bag is a well-constructed and a light camera bag. It easily accommodates three prime lenses and a 5D II, and it has two expanding front pouches that can hold more gear, such as a flash. I was looking for a mid-sized bag and found it in the Hadley Pro. An added bonus is that it looks more like a small courier bag, with its narrow profile, than it does a camera bag. It's the one I now take travelling.

[Universal] I'd seen some glowing reviews of Billingham's camera bags, and since I was in the market for a bag for my Fuji X kit, I thought I'd try one out. It was immediately clear that the bag's reputation was well deserved. The construction is impeccable, the canvas fabric is beautiful, and (most importantly) it's extremely functional. It's not very difficult to get into the bag with one hand, the lid closes securely, and it keeps my gear well protected. In terms of size, it can comfortably fit one rangefinder-style body with attached lens, plus four other lenses not to mention a bunch of accessories in the front pockets. I was initially thinking about the Hadley Small, but I'm very happy with the Pro. It's smaller than you might think, and even if you usually only carry a camera and two lenses (as I do), the option for the extra room is well worth the minor increase in size and weight. The handle on the top is also a critical feature not present on the Small. An important note: in person, particularly indoors, the khaki color is substantially darker than it appears in the B&H product photo. Frankly, this was a big relief for me, and it's a very versatile color. This is the classic Billingham color scheme, and to my eyes it's more elegant than the stealthy black options. Bottom line: this is an awesome bag. It's expensive, but if you want this bag (and you should), you're going to buy it eventually. Don't waste your money on lesser bags with which you'll be dissatisfied just save up and buy the last camera day bag you'll ever own.

[Universal] You get what you pay for with this bag. I use it as my day-to-day man purse (that's right!) for keeping my SLR with me. It looks good enough to carry into professional situations, and carries everything I need in this role. I also have taken it backpacking and hiking in absolutely terrible weather (several hours in pouring rain) and it has held up great. While carrying this backpacking I threw this over my shoulder and attached it to my pack with a light compression strap and it was totally out of the way, but accessible, while keeping my gear protected and dry. Perfect. I find I can carry my Canon T1i with 10-22mm lens attached, 35mm and 60mm primes to one side (stacked with a divider between them) and a flash or fourth longer lens very comfortably. The front pockets carry all I need for the kind of shooting I do - a couple spare batteries, a small filter wallet, a couple CF cards. The only issue I have is dealing with the big 10-22 hood, which I end up cramming into the laptop/ipad slot (works fine) or a front pocket if I haven't stuffed too much in there. I recommend the shoulder pad. It's a very comfortable bag to carry due to its low profile and firm body, but the shoulder pad helps distribute weight a bit better. The leather straps are very easy to manipulate. There's no issue getting in and out of the bag quickly.

[Universal] This is a quality product that is easy to access and is built to last a lifetime. I have had a previous larger Model for over 20 years and this smaller version is not a replacement just a smaller version for an updated Leica outfit that weighs much less and takes up less space. Waterproof and a sound investment to protect valuable equipment.

[Black] Sturdy construction. I love the quick release straps. They are so much faster and quieter than Velcro. I also like the waterproof fabric. Can't be submerged, but can certainly sit in the rain or on the floor of a boat, if necessary.

[Universal] The price had scared me off for the longest time and over that time I had purchased numerous bags that mostly failed to satisfy my requirements for room, protection and looks. I had big bags, small bags, thin bags and thick bags but for one reason or another they just didn't do the job. Finally decided to bite the bullet and spend the big bucks for the Hadley. The size is perfect for a complete m4/3 system. I have an Olympus body along with 5 lenses, numerous filters, batteries and other odds and ends. The bag is very comfortable to carry due to its fine fabric and relatively narrow aspect ratio. The only thing I might add would be a pad for the strap.

[Yes] So when I found out that Kai from DigitalRev uses a Billingham bag (Hadley Large) I looked it up & I was like how much do they sell for?$$$ But after debating on getting one or not I decieded to get it and try it out. I used it this weekend on a trip to Disneyland and I can fit my Canon 60D, 18-135mm, 50mm f/1.4, 28-55mm, cleaning cloth, extra memory card, lens filter, car keyes, my cell phone plus room for more. Everthing fits perfectly & doesnt feel or look like im carrying a Camera plus extras. It also rained during the day & it held up great. My wife loves that it looks great on me so that a plus too.
