Q: 1. What is the difference between the Furman pst-6 and the Furman pst-8D in power conditioning properties.Am I not getting as good conditioning from the pst-6??

A: According to the Furman site, the PST-6 has EMI/RFI filtration, under- and over-voltage shutoff. But the The PST-8 series has LiFT where AC noise is suppressed evenly so it does not add noise, and the SMP technology which is extreme voltage-shutdown which is the most common damaging event. I have the PST-8D and it improves the tv picture and somewhat computer visual both plugged into the digital part, isolating digital and analog inputs. I don't know if PST-6 would do those as much. But you can call Furman and ask them yourself. Hope that helps.

Q: 4. I don't understand the note(When powered from AC, only 220V modeling lamps and heads may be used.) is there any specific 220v head and modeling lamp?

A: You can use a Speedotron 102 Black Line - 2400 Watt/Second Lamphead with 7" Reflector and UV Coated Flashtube, B&H # SP102UV7 and use a 220V modeling lamp inside of it like the Speedotron Modeling Lamp for 103 Flash Head (150W/220V), B&H # SPML150103X. The flash tube doesn’t need to be changed in this case. https://bhpho.to/39tgJnV https://bhpho.to/2TECquH

Q: 5. can I use a short extension cord between my computer and the input socket of this unit to get around the limited spacing of the outlets? Will the extra cord limit the protection?

Q: 6. Hello, I want to buy this Solix C1000X, is it multi-voltage? I noticed it is rated 110 volts on the specs sheet.

A: The Anker SOLIX C1000X Portable Power Station (1056Wh, 1800W) is 120 VAC, 60 Hz so it cannot be used in other voltages.

[1.8 Hour] I bought the EcoFlow Delta 2 as protection against a power outage. Not having experienced a power outage since my purchase, I can’t report how well it would perform in one or how long it will last. What I can report on is that it is easy to set-up and connect to my phone and iPad, and it charges remarkably fast. I tested it under a light load (literally, lights), and the discharge rate was minimal. Testing it by connecting a 1450w space heater did drain the battery swiftly, so that’s not a wise use of the unit.
Since gas-powered generators are dangerous, and each winter, there is at least one local news report of someone dying from a gas generator being run in a garage or porch, and they must be refueled every four hours, I feel that this 120v battery is the prudent and inexpensive way to prepare for an outage.

I have yet to test the solar panels I purchased with the Delta 2.

[1.8 Hour] The January 2023 rains here in California were brutal. I tried to expedite a battery from EcoFlow…and they came through! When the power outage hit..this battery kept a few lights on and powered all our devices. It even powered our Dyson heater. The ExoFlow Delta 2 was amazing.

[2000 Cycles] ECOFLOW unit charges quickly, it has enough electrical outlets, and charges the items I need for an emergency. Great sturdy product. I will use it about a few times a year to make sure it is operational during down times.

[99 Wh] We do have occasional power loss and was looking for a clean solution for minimal devices. You can go from 100$ to thousands of $ for a good solution. I invested in Jackery Explorer 1000 for emergency needs. Lot son YouTube reviews out there and this unit has received great reviews. Should be plenty in case of a powerless to power light and many critical appliances. Holds the charge very well.

[1.8 Hour] Great device. 1000 watt hours only lasts so long though. I use it to power my Glacier cooler for longer periods with solar input.

[99 Wh] We've only been using this for a few weeks, but it's pretty awesome. We wanted something lightweight for emergencies, and it meets our needs. Being able to check the charge and how quickly it's being depleted at a glance via the app is very convenient.

[2000 Cycles] Have only tested it at home, but it has worked great so far and the app works fine. If you are into heavy camping, you might want to think about getting a model with more power storage.

[1.8 Hour] I bought this to replace a smaller unit that could not backup my fridges or freezers. It is much lighter and more functional than the Delta 1300 I purchased a few years ago. I prefer the LiFePO battery and it's associated longer life. It does not have as much battery capacity as the Delta 1300, but the inverter appears to be the same. I like the ability to set the charge limit to 70% while using it as a UPS. The UPS functions very quickly and has been running a freezer and some other appliances without problem. It was a little slow to update the firmware when I got it, but it seems to be doing fine now. I don't like that one must connect the device via WiFi to get updates. It wants access to my home network and that is forbidden to the Chinese (and other) companies.

Overall, I like it and it works so far as a UPS for my freezers and fridges.

[2000 Cycles] Outstanding initial quality but not yet fully tested but my river max is simply fabulous so I have very high hopes for my Delta2. Waiting to purchase a Delta Max battery to boost my capacity
