The Fujifilm X mount Rokinon 10mm f/2.8 Lens for Fujifilm X Mountis a prime wide-angle lens designed specifically for use with APS-C sized image sensors. Providing a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 15mm and a broad 109.5° angle of view, this lens is ideally suited for interior, architectural, and landscape photography applications. One extra-low dispersion element and two aspherical elements have been incorporated into the optical design to minimize chromatic aberrations and distortion in order to produce sharper images. Additionally, a Nano Coating System (NCS) has been applied to the lens elements in order to reduce surface reflections and prevent lens flare and ghosting for improved light transmission and more contrast-rich imagery.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. is it 10mm on apsc or 16mm?

A: The Cannon is not a full frame sensor, so multiply by the difference. This is about the smallest size available for aps.

Q: 2. Will it work with the D810?

A: It will work on the D810, but only in crop mode. It's not a full frame (FX) lens, it's a crop sensor (DX) lens, for cameras like the D7200, but it will mount on a full frame Nikon and work in crop mode.

Q: 3. Is this lens good for astrophotography? More specifically, coma and chromatic aberrations of bright stars not in the center of the image.

A: This lens would be suitable for your application.

Q: 4. Rokinon 10mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS Manual Focus lens have a manual aperture ring for Canon EF mount version? (same photos used on all mount versions, so unsure if photo is only a non-canon one or canon)

A: Yes, you will control the aperture on the lens with this fully manual lens.

Q: 5. Will this lens work on a Canon EOS 5D Mark II? I do not require the autofocus feature

A: This lens will work but it is not a full frame lens. I would recommend the Rokinon 14mm f/2.8. Click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/3e9xrKq

Q: 6. Will this lens work with a Panasonic GH5 and a Metabones Speedbooster Ultra 0.71x?

A: Yes this lens will function with the gear you have specified.

Q: 7. Can this be used on Canon EFmount to MFT Metabones Speed Booster?

A: This lens has the EF-M mount for the Canon mirrorless lenses, which is different than the EF/EF-S mount. It would not be compatible with an EF to MFT mount adapter, nor is there an adapter to mount an EF-M lens on a Micro Four Thirds camera.

Q: 8. Can I use it on my Canon 60D?

A: That is right. It works on a 6D too, but it makes very heavy vigneting, you'll loose about 10mpix

Q: 9. Does this really weigh 1.38 lbs? That's almost double the Fujifilm 10-24's 14 oz.

A: According to the box 22oz. Not that bad really. I have used it on my A6000 while hiking. Upgrade to a aftermarket strap, or use it on a tripod. Manual focus and aperture, but a third the cost of the Fuji.

Q: 10. Folks, this lens looks fantastic, I only want to know one thing: is the Aperture ring de-clicked? I am looking to use this to shoot video, though I'd rather not pay an extra 60$ for focus/iris gear rings - If this lens' aperture is de-clicked that would be perfect for me and I'd love to know. Thanks in advance, you beautiful people

A: Christopher,Unfortunately this lens definitely has a click on the aperture ring. The click is not super heavy, but is most certainly there. It's a great lens! But if this feature is something you're trying to stray away from, then I wouldn't recommend this particular lens to you.

[1.795 lb] This is my first wide angle lens. I can hardly believe how much of the scene fits into the frame. The lens is crystal clear and fairly easy to use. The manual focus and f-stop settings take some getting used to at least for me. Setting the focus seemed difficult at first, however setting the focus ring just before infinity puts almost all shots in total focus. Using live view with magnification puts focus dead on. The lens feels durable and well built. So far I have only taken shots to help me understand the lens but I am happy and impressed with it.

[FUJIFILM X] Just recently bought this lens for shooting the night sky and I was very impress with the performance. Star Trails and Milky Photos turn up very nice. Vignetting appears to be non-existence.I was thinking between this lens and the 16mm Rokinon (Which also has great reviews) and for only $ more you get the 6mm drop in Focal Length for the 10mm Ultra Wide view. That to be me was the best extra $ you can spend to capture a huge range in a photo w/o getting the distortion of a fish lens (which an 8mm lens will get you). This is a manual lens, but for night photography it really isn't that big of a deal because you'll just leave the f-stop at 2.8 and focus at infinity for best performance.Lens is pretty big for it's size and it does not take lens filters. Given that lens filters are basically unnecessary in the digital world and that this isn't a walk around lens these drawbacks really didn't matter to me.$ for a solid prime ultra wide lens while a canon equivalent would go for $-$. Best bang for your buck.

[APS-C] A fantastic lens for astrophotography - and I lucked out and got one that is squared corner to corner (something of an issue with this brand and all others in the family). No having to have replacements sent one-three times until I hit on the trued glass. Once you get one that is squared you have an excellent lens in your hands for the price and then some!

[1.795 lb] I was a little wary about buying a manual focus lens mainly because I'm bad at focusing. It took some practice and using a lot of zooming in on live view with my D7200, but I'm impressed with this lens. The distortion on the edge is minimal and easily correctable in Lightroom or your preferred software. There's very little vignetting as well. I'll mainly use this lens for indoor photography but I think with practice it will make an excellent landscape lens as well. This lens seems a lot more sensitive to ISO and F stop settings than some others but that might be normal for such a wide angle. I'm still learning photography but I do not regret purchasing this lens and at this price I think it's an excellent buy.

[APS-C] Sony 6300 for real estate. Both my Sony 10x18 and Samyang 12mm leave huge halos or glowing windows. This lens is big, a 10mm built like a 135? But once you adjust and accept the size, the images are just spot on and almost no glow at the window edges.
