[Flap, Zipper] Just as well thought out and as sturdily constructed as my 30 yr old 335 which still sees almost daily use. The Hadley Small Pro is actually quite small - I wish their product photos gave more impression of relative size. Pics of a model with this slung over a shoulder would help. I visited the store to purchase this and was surprised at how compact it was compared to my 335; then again, it's perfect for a mirrorless body and a couple of lenses plus bits, as it also is for general non-photog air travel (with the padded cells removed). I very much prefer the closure and top handle arrangement here as opposed to the old 335 alternate closure system. If I have a criticism of Billingham, it's that the range of camera bags has become too large, and it's not always easy to see which of several bags would suit a given set of needs best, but kudos to B&H for stocking so many. I suppose too much choice is hardly a criticism, but it does lead to overthinking the situation.

[4] After expending/inverting thousands of dollars in photographic equipment I like to carefully select and buy a great camera bag to carry that expensive gear.

I'm a big fan of camera bags so I own many bags, one for every occasion or one for every particular situation that I could be up to. This is my first Billingham bag and I must say that I'm impressed.

The quality of its materials and attention to every detail are better than any other bag I own, not to mention is by far the most elegant of the bunch.

Since it was made for Leica cameras or small mirrorless in mind (Like the Fujifilm X-T line) my biggest concern was if the Hadley Small Pro was big enough to hold a bigger camera like the Fujifilm X-H1 or the Sony A7 line and the answer is yes.

In the main compartment I'm able to fit a Fuji X-H1 with a 23mm f2 lens attached a Fuji 56mm f1.2 and a Fuji 16mm f2.8 or a fuji 16mm f1.4. In total 1 camera and 3 lenses thanks to its horizontal and vertical organizers.

I went for the small version of the Billingham Hadley line because I like to travel light when I'm using a messenger bag, that is because if I use a larger messenger bag and filled up with more gear is going to be heavier and in a long walk is going to cause me pain on my shoulder because I'm holding all the weight in just one shoulder.

Yes, it is water proof and in case you damage any part of the straps you are able to buy a spare part.

[4] Have used this bag for nearly a month and find it to be my favorite. Quality of the materials, padding and craftsmanship are excellent as expected. As the name says, it is small, but carries more equipment than I imagined. I am a Fuji shooter. I replaced the dividers with two Peak Design sling replacement dividers with folding partitions. With that change I can fit an X-T3 with 18-55 attached, a large lens with the divider folded flat (55-200, 80 macro or 10-24) and a smaller lens (14, 23/2 etc.) on the other side. The front flaps have a snap for closure, but also a second snap to reduce the volume so batteries, filters etc. can’t move around in transport. Also appreciate the top flap. With it closed, I tuck a camera strap above the camera and never worry about the metal parts of the strap scratching the LCD. Great bag!

[Flap, Zipper] The bag is well made and lightweight. It is smaller than I expected but works well for my purposes, which was to safely carry a Leica Q2 with additional room for charger, strap, spare battery, and SD Cards. I haven't tested the water resiliency as yet but the build quality would not give rise to any concerns. Fully meets my functional requirements and is a pretty good-looking bag. Kinda wish I'd gotten the red one but this is a keeper.

[Flap, Zipper] What can I say about this Billingham bag? It’s typical Billingham quality of course. The design that swallows way more gear than it should. I was using a Hadley Pro when I added a third body, all Fujis. The Pro could hold three bodies and a few lenses but it was getting tight. It was also hard to stuff in the T1 or T2 with the grip. The One allows for the battery grip and an E-2 and E-3. Eight lenses are in there and a couple of flashes. Plenty room left for the usual junk we haul along. It’s a wonderful bag. My only complaint is that they didn’t use the button-up flap on the pockets like the Hadley Pro.

[Flap, Zipper] I own several Billingham bags: Hadley Pro, Hadley Large and f1.4. The oldest of which is the Hadley Large. The challenge with the Hadley Pro and Hadley Large is that these bags are narrow where it takes some fiddling to get my Fuji X-T2 and X-Pro2 cameras in and out with lenses mounted. I wanted a lightly wider bag (front to back) to make it easier to use with two cameras. When the Hadley One was announced, I ordered it right away. The bag answers my prayers. It also features a 2 wide removable strap which makes the bag more comfortable when loaded up with gear. A dedicated laptop pocket accommodates my 13 MacBook Pro AND iPad Pro 9.5. When I travel, however, I only take my iPad Pro and leave the laptop home. The fit and finish is the usual top-notch Billingham quality. It should last for years and the nob and leather closures are quiet and fast to open and close. No velcro ever on a Billingham bag. I purchased mine in fibernyte Khaki with chocolate brown leather trim. This is the same color scheme and materials as my f1.4 bag. It's beautiful and doesn't scream expensive camera gear inside.

[4] This is a smaller version of the Billingham Hadley shoulder bag; it's great for smaller cameras and the external pockets are well thought out.
