Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I am keen for this bag over the Billingham L2 (very similar) as the front pocket is zipped. Could this be used with my Nikon D800 and 1-2 lenses? Cheers, Cham

A: I am not familiar with the exact size of the D800, but I would say this bag would not fit the camera and would definitely not fit the camera with a zoom lens, let alone a second lens. I put my canon 5d mark iii with a lens on it into the bag just to test, and couldn't even close the top. It is designed specifically to fit a leica system so it probably won't work for and DSLR. Cheers

Q: 2. Can this bag carry an X-T3 with 18-55, a 10-24 and a 55-200?

A: Yes, it will fit with the shorter lens attached and there are 2 other dividers for the other lenses.

Q: 3. Will it fit a Canon 5D Mark III with attached 24-70mm lens and also a 70-200mm lens?

A: The 5D mark III with the 24-70mm is about 8 long. The 5D Mark III and the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8are about 11 long. Since this bag is only 9.5 tall in the interior, it might be a bit tight with the camera and the 70-200mm. You may wish to consider the Domke J-1 Journalist Shoulder Bag (Black) B&H # DOJ1B which is 11 tall on the interior.

Q: 4. Next Generation really means closing the remaining US manufacturing and producing all Domke bags in China?

A: All Domke bags are made in the USA. The Next Generation bags are a new line of bags which are different than our Heritage line of bags. For more information please visit a href= https://tiffen.com/domke/ target= _blank https://tiffen.com/domke//a

Q: 5. is it Black FibreNyte or Black Canvas?

A: With Billingham, if it says canvas, it is canvas. If it says FibreNyte, it is FibreNyte.

Q: 6. Does the bag have metal feet

A: No, there is nothing on the bottom.

Q: 7. Would this be able to hold an iPad 10.5 inch with Smart Keyboard?

A: The 10.5” iPad will not fit in this bag, but will in a larger edition of the design, such as the Hadley One perhaps. Check the specs of various bags...Hadley Pro, Hadley One, etc.

Q: 8. Is the padding totally removable like the Domke F2?

A: YES

Q: 9. how big is that? please put a photo with something for scale.

A: it's big enough for the xpro2+35mm lens + space for extra lens, 2 batteries and filters 2 in my case. maybe the charger if you squeeze it in

Q: 10. Does the Billingham Small Pro come with shoulder pad ?

A: No, it does not. The Hadley Small Pro accepts the 'optional' SP15 and SP40. The SP40 is the new 'extra comfort' version that incorporates a grooved inner core of high-density closed-cell foam designed to help the Shoulder Pad mold to the shape of your shoulder

[4.15 lb] Yes it costs a lot but it's made for a lifetime. Bought it after much consideration to carry a 13 Macbook Air, a Sony A6000 and lenses. For overnight business travel, with just one extra lens (mostly interior architectural photography), there's still room for travel essentials making it a single carry-on solution.

[4.15 lb] I bought this bag after much research. I am a pro photographer and love using some of my good gear when not working but truly dislike lugging big bags when not on a job (like most I'm sure). While it isn't small it is comfortable to wear as crossbody messenger (I'm 5'6 small frame) and it fits my 5D Mark III WITH a 24-70 2.8, my 70-200 2.8, 50mm 1.2, 200mm macro, 600 flash, battery charger and batteries, WITH room to spare. I want to be able to take out/place back with ease and without too much effort. It is also a good looking bag. I'll be back in a few years regarding durability, but it looks well made.

[4.15 lb] This bag is very nearly indestructable- I have battered mine across the country for almost 4 years now & it looks as new. Its made in the UK & they do it well.

[Yes] I am extremely particular re: my luggage. Attention given to quality, durability, and style. I own other Billingham bags for my camera equipment...& have found nothing better.

[Yes] Bought this Billingham Eventer camera bag for an upcoming trip in December to Europe including Munich, Vienna and Stockholm. Needed a well constructed bag that would hold my Sony DSC RX1RII and my Sony A7r along with two lenses. Also taking a small laptop. While expensive, the bag is made of the highest quality materials and is well designed - and rather lightweight. This bag definitely measures up to the quality of my two cameras and the Zeiss lenses!

[Yes] I purchased this bag from B&H roughly 15 years ago before it was discontinued. I am happy to see that Billingham decided to give it new life. I remember opening the shipping box and seeing it for the first time and thinking to myself - IT'S TOO PRETTY! What venue am I possibly going to use this in? I'm usually shooting in dirty locations such as chasing railroad locomotives or at playgrounds with my children. I also remember hiding it from my wife because once she saw it I would be interrogated about the cost (The money spent would have purchased a lot of diapers). I thought of returning it for a refund, but this was now impossible due to it's looks. So it remained hidden for a few years until a friend of the family asked me to shoot his wedding. I tried to get out of the wedding shoot because I still did not want my wife to see the Billingham bag, after all I could not shoot a wedding with my beater bag-right? He insisted (knowing he would get a cheap photographer) and I relented. Luckily the wife could not attend the wedding, but I still had to smuggle the bag out of the house. During the wedding the bag got more comments then the bride and groom-HUH? I knew then that I had better not ever leave the bag unattended as it would most certainly walk away. To this very day my wife has never seen this bag. Some nights when I want to look at something beautiful other than the wife I will retrieve my Eventer from it's secret hiding place and gaze at it's magnificent qualities.

[Universal] Usual Billingham quality small case. So far I’m using it to carry M5 with 35mm lens one day and Rollei 35 Ricoh GRIII on other days. Great small bag for everyday use dressed or not. Now I’m wishing the depth dimension be tad smaller for less protruding element from one’s body, especially for NYC.

[4.15 lb] Solid bag, deeper than the Hadley Pro Large. Quality all the way.

[4.15 lb] Nothing you can complain about Billingham. Quality is great and looks remain stylish. However, I do wish the bag had a little more space. It fits 1 camera 1 lens
