Q: 4. Does anyone know if it will fit a 77D body with a Tamron 100-400mm attached (hood reversed). Thinking of keeping it in my hiking backpack. Is the shoulder strap removable?

A: Would be a bit too small for that setup, would go with the 10L Sling.

[3.71 lb] I hesitated getting this bag for quite a while because it indicated only capacity for a 13" MacBook, and a response from B&H customer service indicated the same. I wish I had not waited so long. My 15" 2017 MacBook Pro fits in the padded compartment easily with a (small) bit of room to spare. It easily accommodates an E-M1.2 w/ 12-100mm lens and 60mm macro with some room to spare for other accessories.

This is a "just right size" bag for field work. With the dividers removed, there is plenty of room for other non-camera equipment or use as an overnighter as well. This is the perfect complement to the cavernous 555 that holds the full complement of equipment when I travel. I only have several weeks of wear on the Hadley One and a year and a half on the 555. But neither has been treated gently and the Hadley One has been used in rocky, dusty, hot desert conditions in the field and still looks new. I expect that my children will be enjoying these bags in the (hopefully) far future. It is expensive, but of a commensurate quality.

[Chocolate Brown] I am using my EVENT bag to hold a Pentax K1 with large lens, Macro lens in hard case, flash and a small lens with my MAC Pro in the sleeve on the side. Great padding all round. The quality of stitching, material used and shoulder strap - couldn't be better. I thought long and hard in spending the money required for this bag, but I haven't been happy with other bags to protect the camera and non can hold my MAC.

[Chocolate Brown] Have used this bag for nearly a month and find it to be my favorite. Quality of the materials, padding and craftsmanship are excellent as expected. As the name says, it is small, but carries more equipment than I imagined. I am a Fuji shooter. I replaced the dividers with two Peak Design sling replacement dividers with folding partitions. With that change I can fit an X-T3 with 18-55 attached, a large lens with the divider folded flat (55-200, 80 macro or 10-24) and a smaller lens (14, 23/2 etc.) on the other side. The front flaps have a snap for closure, but also a second snap to reduce the volume so batteries, filters etc. can’t move around in transport. Also appreciate the top flap. With it closed, I tuck a camera strap above the camera and never worry about the metal parts of the strap scratching the LCD. Great bag!

[Yes] Really happy with this Billingham, handle on top, no zipper for easier access, trolley luggage strap in back, perfect for carry on, for DSLR and a lens, or a 2 mirrorless bodies and a couple lenses.

[3.71 lb] I saw this bag on YouTube and it looked like the perfect bag to travel with as it holds all of the essentials: laptop, camera, iPad and other travel accessories. It also is a great quality bag and looks like it will last for a very long time. While expensive, I'm glad I made the purchase.

[15 x 9 x 6.75"] Out of three Billingham Bag that I've owned, this is my favorite. The design, materials, and construction quality are top notch. I've read some criticism of the Billingham bags because of the leather strap/post closures. The nice thing about this particular bag is that when you're carrying it by the shoulder strap, the main flap can be folded out of the way giving you quick access to the main compartment via the zipper. In the main compartment, I can easily store my Nikon D850 with the 24-120mm zoom attached, a Nikon Speedlight, and the Nikon 14-24mm lens. Alternatively, the Speedlight can be stored in one of the front pockets and be replaced with the Nikon 70-200mm zoom.

I still use my Lowe Pro backpack when I need to carry a larger zoom lens and other gear, but all in all this is a very practical bag made to a high standard.

[15 x 9 x 6.75"] I have been using Billingham bags for several years and they are some of the best bags available. I needed a bag for my Leica SL system (body and a few lenses, accessories, etc.)

The Hadley One bag is a fairly new bag and has some updated features - removable strap) This bag is perfect for my needs. It's well-protected from the elements, has lots of room, and doesn't necessarily look like a camera bag.

Note:

The bag only comes with a half-insert, so if you are going to carry lots of gear, you will need the Billingham full-sized insert

Also, you should also buy the optional SP50 Shoulder Pad for extra comfort B&H # BISP50B MFR # BI 528601

None of this comes cheap, but with Billingham, you get what you pay for

[15 x 9 x 6.75"] Bought this bag to hold all my day photo gear and essentials while I traveling outside the country. This is an airport dream bag. It is the perfect size to hold my gear snug and secure without being oversized and a burden. I opted to get the additional shoulder pad option as a days equipment comes to about 15lbs and it makes a big difference to distribute the weight. I added my Peak Design CapturePro to the strap for when I need the camera available but not in my hands without adding another strap around my neck. I have a Fuji-Xpro2, 16-55, 100-400, 1.5 converter, Nissin Di700A Flash, and iPad Pro loaded and have 1/3 the bag, one front pocket, and the back slip pocket still available. There is enough room to bring it up to the 22 lbs carry on limit. I'm impressed with the style and have no doubts that it will endure the riggers of travel while keeping my equipment safe.

[Chocolate Brown] I own several Billingham bags: Hadley Pro, Hadley Large and f1.4. The oldest of which is the Hadley Large. The challenge with the Hadley Pro and Hadley Large is that these bags are narrow where it takes some fiddling to get my Fuji X-T2 and X-Pro2 cameras in and out with lenses mounted. I wanted a lightly wider bag (front to back) to make it easier to use with two cameras. When the Hadley One was announced, I ordered it right away. The bag answers my prayers. It also features a 2 wide removable strap which makes the bag more comfortable when loaded up with gear. A dedicated laptop pocket accommodates my 13 MacBook Pro AND iPad Pro 9.5. When I travel, however, I only take my iPad Pro and leave the laptop home. The fit and finish is the usual top-notch Billingham quality. It should last for years and the nob and leather closures are quiet and fast to open and close. No velcro ever on a Billingham bag. I purchased mine in fibernyte Khaki with chocolate brown leather trim. This is the same color scheme and materials as my f1.4 bag. It's beautiful and doesn't scream expensive camera gear inside.
