[Neoprene] I have used these for two seasons and they work really well for scanning heavy cover out to 300 meters particularly in low light situations.

[Black] What a wonderful difference these binoculars make on my birding outings. They are so much nicer than any of my others. Clear, crisp and easy to adjust even with gloves. 5 star binoculars and fast delivery.

[Black] My first binoculars for birding. After using my friend’s Leica pair for a few months, I was concerned whether any bins in my price range would compare. Read many reviews and decided on Vortex Diamondback. Honestly love these. Very bright images, great for low light conditions. My friend tried them out and she was impressed with the brightness and clear images as well. They are weighty so definitely recommend a stretchy harness for comfort.

[0.225 lb] Excellent binoculars. Bright, sharp, compact. Fits me and my 8 yr old. Enough focus that I can use them at infinity without my glasses, with -7.75 myopic prescription. Not all binoculars have enough range to work without glasses and it’s best to have this option if you are short sighted so you can choose what is more comfortable for you. Work well with glasses too (adjustable eye cups). Free included case ok too.

[Neoprene] This is our second pair. My wife had one that I borrowed quite a bit. She bought me a pair for my birthday. I love them. I can see lots of beautiful detail of the birds.

[Neoprene] ... based on the really good reviews here. My biggest concern was eye relief with glasses and sunglasses. It's *just* enough. Nikon Prostaff is better in that regard, among others.
However, the eye relief distance works and I still get a full picture, and the rest of the experience punches far above it's price point. This to me is the perfect do-anything binocular, that you won't likely feel a need to upgrade from. It gives you excellent optics, durability, warranty, performance, and I love the Glass-Pak chest case. I'll use these birding, on vacation, on short hikes, at the range, and for the backyard with bugs and wildlife. Oh, and B&H was very excellent to work with- they answered my questions and shipped a flawless product quickly.

[0.225 lb] I bought these to use when i go birding with my daughter. They are fantastic. Crystal clear, easy to focus, and with enough heft to really be able to hold them steady. I'm very pleased with them. I only wish that they came with a cross-body strap for the case instead of a harness, but that's solvable.

[Black] A few years ago I purchased a great pair of Vixen binoculars which have been wonderfully useful. On this occasion I was hoping to find binoculars for my son who is an avid fisherman - and with similar specs the Vortex binoculars hit the sweet spot at a very competitive price. Excellent visual acuity, great size. No flash!

[Neoprene] I bought these after another bino (not Vortex) got knocked out of alignment for the third time. These are very nice for the price. They have clear bright glass giving a crisp view. I am glad I bought the 8X42 for the wider field of view, works better for where I will be using them the most. The exterior armor is grippy but not squishy. I would buy them again.
