Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Do we keep the autofocus feature like with the original Sony lense or these are used only with manual focus?

A: Unfortunately, this lenses only offer manual focus.

Q: 2. It only worked 1 week, for some reason I can't connect and it does not show any splash screen. I've sent an email to support but

A: The IOGEAR Mini Wireless 4K UHD Screen Sharing Receiver (BH # IOGWAVR4K) will work with your Windows 10+, Android 10+, macOS 10.14+, iOS 10.10+, or Chromebook device to your HDTV, projector, or monitor. Please check your device for the latest OS version.

Q: 3. How would these lenses perform on a Sony Alpha a7R IV, say compared to the 2 Sony video lens, ie FE PZ 28-135 F4 OSS and E PZ 18-105 F4 G OSS?

A: Both the Fujinon MK18-55mm T2.9 Lens (Sony E Mount) and the Fujinon MK50-135mm T2.9 Lens (Sony E Mount) would be compatible for use with the Sony Alpha a7R IV Mirrorless Digital Cameras. While I have not seen optical performance comparison tests between the Fujinon lenses and the Sony lenses, both would be compatible for use on the a7R, and should have similar build quality and performance.

Q: 4. Hello, I'm curious to know how these would perform on the Sony Fx6 Full Frame sensor. Anyone with insight or experience with such a setup? Thanks

A: These lenses are not designed to cover a full frame sensors (only up to Super 35) so unfortunately they will produce a very large vignette around your footage. These lenses are best used on super 35mm cameras such as the Sony FS7/FS7 mkII

Q: 5. Yes, I've checked the version before posting the question. Yes, Mac OS it is listed as supported. Any ideas?

A: The IOGEAR Mini Wireless 4K UHD Screen Sharing Receiver BH #IOGWAVR4K may be defective. Please email our customer service department for assistance. cs@bhphoto.com

Q: 6. Would this kit on a Sony FS7 give the same practical focal length equivalent as a Canon 24-105 + 70-200 with a speed booster adapter?

A: The Fuji lens kit give you an 18mm to 135mm focal range. The Canon 24-105mm lens, if you multiply by the Metabones Canon EF Lens to Sony E Mount T CINE Speed Booster ULTRA 0.71x (Fifth Generation) B&H # MEMBSPEFEBT3 0.71 factor gives you an effective 17mm to 95.85mm. So you get 1 more mm at the wide end, which helps, but you lose at the tele end a fair amount. I would say this is a good, affordable solution until you can get the Fujinon's.

Q: 7. Does this come with a HoodLoupe base?

A: Order the H32MB, it comes with an optical module and a 3.2 base.a href= https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=h32mb&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ma&Top+Nav-Search= target= _blank https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=h32mb&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ma&Top+Nav-Search=/aorOrder the H30MB, it comes with an optical module and a 3.0 base.a href= https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=h30mb&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ma&Top+Nav-Search= target= _blank https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=h30mb&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ma&Top+Nav-Search=/a

Q: 8. Will this fit my Nikon D7000 and my D750?

A: The loupe comes in 2 parts - the optics (expensive) and the hood part (cheap). The idea is that if the LCD size is different on a new camera or your second body, just change the hood part. Seeing Timothy's answer, just buy one or the other and go to the Hoodman site to get the second hood that you still need. The 3.2 on a 3 screen will block some of the buttons and likely let in light. A 3 on a 3.2 will not show the full screen.

Q: 9. Is this lens parfocal?

A: Yes, both lenses in the the Fujinon MK18-55 & MK50-135 T2.9 Cine-Style Lens Kit are parfocal. Generally speaking, cinema manual focus zoom lenses like these are parfocal whereas still auto focus zooms are not.

Q: 10. will this fit at Canon 6D camera & a Canon 7D camera?

A: Yes, it will fit both cameras.

[16:9] Bought this screen to go with my LG projector. I like the smooth retractable closing mechanism. I was going to purchase a cheaper hangable screen but settled for this one for portability and storability. I recommend it if you just want to take with you to your yard for an outdoors movie night and back in to your man/woman etc... cave!

[AcousticPro UHD] This screen is great. High quality at a super price. Lightweight. Takes a little bit to figure out the first couple of times, but then gets easy to put up. Much easier with 2 people. Folds up compact and storable.

My only criticism is the carry bag. Mine is ripped at the handle and I’m waiting to hear back from customer service to see if they will replace it so I don’t have to ship back the whole screen. Even so doesn’t seem very durable and the handle and strap attachment areas don’t seem like they will last. I’m trying to figure out how to reinforce them because the inside has fabric so I can’t repair the whole without cutting the inside fabric. I will probably carry like a box.

[Steel] A great product. Easy to assemble and take down....minutes for both. Very sturdy construction and material. We had our first outdoor movie and it was wonderfully fun.

[Front] If you are looking for a projector screen and are on a budget this screen works perfectly. You can spend a lot more for only marginal improvements. If manually lowering the screen isn't a deal breaker this screen is worth a look.

[16:9] I looked at a LOT of different projection screens before settling on this one. I've been very happy with it. The motor is fairly quiet and the image quality is great. My only regret is that I missed the text indicating the optimal distance for the projector. We have ours mounted about 12' away, which is technically too close for optimal image quality. This results in some visible ripples under certain very specific viewing conditions, but they are barely noticeable to most people and I've learned to ignore them. Still, if you want perfection, be certain you're using a projector that doesn't remotely qualify as short throw.

[Steel] Due to the pandemic, we wanted our homebound college daughters to be able to have a few friends over while staying outdoors and socially distanced. We used this with a projector from B&H (thanks so much to Gerard from customer service who patiently walked me through what would suit us!). It was easy to set up, move, and put away. Picture quality looks great for both movies and gaming!

[134 x 6 x 6"] Good price good quality, easy to install (We did wall mount). The pull down mechanism works smoothly, no issues getting it to retract smoothly, goes slow and steady. Good quality image from our Optima projector on the screen, very happy for the money

[Steel] The full video review will eventually be on KuhlToys.com, but for now suffice it to say if you want the real theater experience the right way to do it is to have the speakers behind the screen.

I do have a couple of simple suggestions about the build, so please read on.

We had two problems, both I think related.

The instructions are small, I know most men don't read them so I am sure they were trying to save paper, and I didn't read them all the way before I started.

There is a center support bar that needs a nut inserted into the slot before you finish the frame but the nut is isn't mentioned until after you finish applying the material.

I had to undo one end, pull the frame apart and insert the bolts. Then it took two people to stretch the frame the 1/16 extra to insert the support bar. This made the material wrinkle.

It took several attempts to get the wrinkles out.

My guess is to put the nuts in while building the frame, and install the center bar(s) before attaching the screen material.

This is a bright white screen that looks great in a dark room, you'll need a projector with deep blacks. A touch of grey might help with the blacks for cheaper projectors, but that screen is twice the price, and won't do 4k (yet).

The acoustics are very clean and we haven't seen any artifacts or blurring from the fabric using a Optoma 1080p projector (also purchased from B&H). We are waiting for someone to send us a 4k to review or prices to drop just a little more.

There is a black fabric backing so no need to paint the wall flat black like some other brands.

Hanging was a piece of cake, and we are considering adding the LED kit, just because the screen looks so cool.

Our setup is pretty simple THX video compliant and 5.1 with two seats in a screening room type setup.

Total Install Time about 1 hour, mostly for the redo part.
