[Red] This is a fantastic sight! I highly recommend it. First, it is made of titanium instead of aluminum and therefore can more easily sustain rough handling. Second, the small dot inside the larger circle makes it easier to acquire a good sight and target picture at speed. Also, I have tried both red and green emitters and I find the green easier to see. I recommend trying both if you can to find which works best for you. Third, and this is a comment about dots in general. They will compensate for older eyes. I have the shooting fundamentals down well, but with my older eyes I am not able to align the front sight, back sight, and the target. It is very hard for me to shoot accurately because everything is just a blur. When using the dot I just focus on the target and dot just shows up clear with no strain. On my first day out on the range I was able to get a pretty good group at 70 feet (max distance of the range) with a Glock 45 and Blazer Brass Aluminum 115 grain ammo on an 8 target. I think I could get an even tighter group with more practice.

I have three in the C series and three in the K series. I have been very pleased with the quality and workmanship of all. Being an older shooter I much appreciate the advantages of RD sights. To be honest, I have had only one problem with one of the sights and it was replaced, albeit slowly, by Holosun without question.


Young or old I would certainly recommend this or any of the Holosun sights. They make a wide verity to meet all your shooting needs. Dollar for dollar they are the best out there.

[8x] The Holosun has never needed an introduction. This HS407K is no exception. This is an excellent Red Dot. Clear, clean and remarkably bright. Brightness settings are easy to select and there is certainly a custom setting to please anyone. Sturdy and solid, with fantastic dependability. Easy to install and is a direct fit for the Sig Sauer P365 series. Just a couple of small dabs of Locktite 243 on the tip of the screws then wait 24Hrs before shooting. Easy to zero and fun too. Once its set to zero it keeps it. Great little Red Dot which I highly recommend! As usual B&H has a fair price and they ship faster than anyone in the business. I'm not kidding, get one while they last.

[20 Hours] This is an excellent red dot sight for a modern rifle. The red circle is a big plus! The only consideration is the height. It's too tall to co-witness the backup (iron) sights through it's glass should the red dot shut down. A Torx tool is needed to remove this sight. I also got a Vortex red dot sight that's low enough to see the backup sights right in the middle of it's glass. But I love the Holosun red circle. I'll update when I decide which works best for my needs.

[20 Hours] Big fan of Holosun! I prefer the green dot over the red dots. Price point is good. You won't be disappointed.

[2 x 18350] This is a great Red dot. Delivery was quick. Already have one mounted up, but waiting for my other 9mm to be built.

[8x] They need to make it shorter. I used this on top of a 3-9x42 scope and it was uncomfortably close to the eye relief, which is necessary in viewing the scope properly.

[20 Hours] The Holosun 507Comp is quickly becoming my new go-to competition sight. I love the large window, multiple reticle configurations, and overall build quality. I’ve slowly been replacing my Trijicon and Vortex red dots with Holosun. Love the easily accessible battery trays compared to the Trijicons and love the higher brightness options over the Vortex Venom/Viper.
