[Dynamic] These headphones were purchased for telecommuting business use, primarily for VOIP customer conference and internal company calls. I have used them for both short conversations and hours long conference calls, and found them to be comfortable to wear and easy to put on or take off. Sound quality is excellent (when compared to audio and gaming headsets I have used) and the microphone pickup is clear (according to feedback from listeners). I chose the dual headset to block ambient sound in my home office, and the USB-A connection to allow flexibility for USB or 3.5mm connections. Microphone position adjustment is easy and it stays in position unless moved. The in-line control (mute, volume and on/off-hook switches) are easy to use and have visual indicators. I also set- up the headset to use the audio prompt so I am notified when I select mute on or off. I use the headset multiple times a day, so it goes through 10-20 putting on / taking off cycles per day, and so far I have had no issues with defects or failures. When not in use it hangs on a hook with the cord suspended, so the unit is not stressed by being folded or put in a drawer, and I work close to my computer so the cord is not under tension when in use. I have only found two drawbacks: 1) if you place the microphone in certain positions it will pick up your breathing (fixed by adjusting the microphone position), and 2) the headband adjustment detents are not deep, so when you remove or handle the headset the adjustment can change (not a defect, but something to be aware of if headband/earpiece location is important to your comfort). Overall, high quality sound, easy to use and comfortable to wear make this a product I would recommend for any application similar to mine.

[Closed-Back] I use Ring Central App. Its amazing how the noise cancellation feature works. I never realized how much telephone noise Ive been dealing with that I didnt have to. 3 Years of that really works your nerves. Ive been using it for about two weeks. So far so good and it frees up my hands and really works well with the ring central app and Gorilla Desk. No more finger dialing of numbers.

[1x USB-A] I never used a headset before, but they are helpful for ZOOM conference calls as they cut the ambient noise that would distract you if you were using the laptop microphone.




I have a relatively large head but I find the 5220 to be light and comfortable.

[1x USB-A] Very nice headset, and very comfortable to wear (light; snug, but not overly so, against your ears). It does a nice job noise-cancelling on my end - with two settings to choose from - and people on the other end of meetings/calls say I sound good with no background noise even though I work in an open office with a lot of coworkers around. I like the fact that it is a USB-C headset but with a USB-A adapter permanently attached for when you want to use the headset with an older computer or device without USB-C. I also like that there are volume up/down and mute buttons on the cord. I don't use the "Teams" button to answer calls as I tend to just use my mouse to click on Teams calls since my mouse tends to be closer to my fingers than the headset cord buttons.

I do have two suggestions for improvement:
1) offer an "over the ear" version in addition to this "on the ear" design as this would help even more to reduce distracting sounds in your own background.
2) allow the user to adjust the amount of sidetone (hearing your own voice in your headset), preferably via the buttons on the cord (as opposed to some sort of app the user needs to install)

[Omnidirectional] I'm using this to replace a cheap in-ear headset that came with one of my Smartphones year ago. I could not believe how comfortable the new Plantronics would be. It's great for hour-long Google Hangouts/Meet and Zoom. People actually mentioned that my voice is much clearer and that there's very little ambient noise, even when someone else in the same room is on a call at the same time. The mute button only mutes on the headset but the volume buttons on the headset control the volume within Linux. I even like listening to music through it.

[Closed-Back] The ear pads are soft and comfortable to wear. Others report they don't hear me typing during Zoom conferences.

[90 dB ] I'm a psychotherapist currently doing remote counseling and have been struggling to find a noise cancelling headset that is comfortable and works well. This headset truly meets both of those needs. While it did bother my ears at first for the first week or so, it has since become extremely comfortable and enjoyable to use, with a crisp sound and an amazing noise cancelling microphone.
