[Neoprene] First pair of really solid binos i've purchased and I'm super happy with them. Sturdy and solid but not overly heavy.

[Neoprene] I had been using a more compact 10x24 Nikon Prostaff binoculars which were OK optical quality as an also entry-level model series but at 10 years old were not as good as these Diamondbacks. Regardless of brand, I would always recommend 8x42 over 10x for the majority of folks as it's much easier to find your subject, hand jiggle is not nearly as distracting, and the x42 lets much more light in for use at dawn/dusk. Vest case Vortex includes is very nice too.

[Neoprene] I have used these for two seasons and they work really well for scanning heavy cover out to 300 meters particularly in low light situations.

[Neoprene] My first binoculars for birding. After using my friend’s Leica pair for a few months, I was concerned whether any bins in my price range would compare. Read many reviews and decided on Vortex Diamondback. Honestly love these. Very bright images, great for low light conditions. My friend tried them out and she was impressed with the brightness and clear images as well. They are weighty so definitely recommend a stretchy harness for comfort.

[Neoprene] I bought these after another bino (not Vortex) got knocked out of alignment for the third time. These are very nice for the price. They have clear bright glass giving a crisp view. I am glad I bought the 8X42 for the wider field of view, works better for where I will be using them the most. The exterior armor is grippy but not squishy. I would buy them again.

[Neoprene] I have purchased vortex binocular from B&H company, and then it turned out that, I can not having my binocular because it s over 150 $. I had no information during the buying process about the situation. After, The shipping company informed me about the policy. I am professional tour guide and helping my guests for bird observation. I have canceled over 5 tours in my high season and that cost me 2000 usd !!!
Question is this, who has the responsibility for informing buying policy to the customers. How the customers from.out side of US could know that, they need to pay over 500 usd for their order, even if the order cost 240 usd in total.

[Neoprene] A few years ago I purchased a great pair of Vixen binoculars which have been wonderfully useful. On this occasion I was hoping to find binoculars for my son who is an avid fisherman - and with similar specs the Vortex binoculars hit the sweet spot at a very competitive price. Excellent visual acuity, great size. No flash!

[Neoprene] I bought these to use when i go birding with my daughter. They are fantastic. Crystal clear, easy to focus, and with enough heft to really be able to hold them steady. I'm very pleased with them. I only wish that they came with a cross-body strap for the case instead of a harness, but that's solvable.
