Q: 1. Is there any "left/right" brightness adjustments or is the brightness always uniform (and flat)?

A: There is no left/right brightness adjustments

Q: 2. CAN this light be used for just dslr camera shots & not videos?

A: The DV112A can be used as continuous lighting for still photo as well.

Q: 3. How much does it weigh?

A: Unfortunately, we only have the weight of this item in the original packaging, which is 0.55 lbs.

Q: 4. Hello, I am looking to use my leica M lenses to shoot a film with my Sony a7s and metabones adaptor. Some of it will be shooting outdoors and I need to be able to put ND on these lenses in a way that that will be practical (i.e. not buying ND for each individual lens with a different filter thread size). I am wondering, with consideration to the very small size of these lenses, if this product will be a good purchase in order to use one ND filter set. I am wondering specifically about the lens cowl working well to reduce light leaks and reflections of the filter, as some have said it does not stay in place? Thanks!

A: Hello Joe. This product brings an adjustable cover to put between the lens and the Matte Box to block the light. The only problem I see. If the lens is not large, it difficult to manual focus. If you want to give me an e-mail to send you the photos from my lenses. So you take a better decision. Bye

Q: 5. Can I request a 3d model? We are building a pipe measurer with this product included in the design.

A: Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not provided us with this kind of information.

Q: 6. What is the limit on the weight each arm can handle without drooping?

A: When using the Brackets Dot Line DL-0550 Flexible Macro Light Bracket each arm can handle 15 oz. without drooping.

Q: 7. Does anyone know the LxWxH of the unit itself?

A: I bought it in September! Its 1.5x3x5 and really powerful!

Q: 8. Does Dot Line Matte Box MB3 fit sony ax100 4k ?

A: Not unless you buy a universal base plate that has the height to elevate the camera above the lens opening. The kicker is that even cheap base plates are several hundred dollars. Hope this helps.

Q: 9. Since almost all film-making is now done digitally, when will there be a version of this slate that doesn't waste space for film roll , and instead allow spaces for Scene , Shot , and Take ?

A: I always number my SD cards and put that number on the slate. It's still a useful box to have even if you aren't shooting on actual film rolls.

Q: 10. What shoe cord did they use to achieve the dual TTL light setup in the photo? The shoe cord has a pass through TTL on top?

A: Off camera shoe cords cannot figure out TTL with two different flashes at two different places at the same time. So it never pass through TTL on top if you have two flashes. In a situation like that it needs to be setup via manual exposure. A cord like this Energizer was used: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1005408-REG/energizer_ene_ttlu_multi_fit_ttl_flash_cord.html I would recommend using a radio flash trigger and using a flash that has a radio receiver built in. This way you can have two flashes running TTL at the same time and you don't need a cord between them since radio is wireless.

[1.4 lb] The ring flash works nicely.though I would prefer someone made a dedicated unit for Pentax. Shutter speed slows as you stop down on the aperature 40 and less on shutter speed on manual. I do like the continuous light for shooting and setting up in less than favorable light. If you have a 49mm lens go ahead and order a step up adapter for from 49 to 52 so you can use the unit.

[1.4 lb] I bought this viewer to replace something similar that I used to have that got broken. This unit is much better than the one I had before. It has a wonderful clear glass to view the slides through and a brighter light that really shows the images well. The slides radiate with this viewer. Its like looking out a window at what I was seeing when I shot the scenes. The best Ive ever had to enjoy my images through.

[1.4 lb] This viewer is exactly what it is supposed to be. I have had some slides get stuck, but it is very easy to get them to slide out. If you have old slides and you just need to see what they are to label them, this viewer works well. It is worth the small price.

[1.4 lb] Very handy piece of gear for studio/set photography or filming. Sturdy mounts. Pretty stiff, so it can hold items of significant weight in position. Opens up a lot of positioning options and solves a lot of grip challenges. Pairs well with Impact Large Clip Clamp and
Impact Super Clamp with Ratchet Handle.

[Aluminum] If you got stuck with some cheap versions of these cause you bought one of those digital juice blue bag led sets (the leds die in it too) you will really appreciate how well these are made. Also if you just need to mount a light on a stand and need that swivel, you gotta get these, they are expensive, but worth the price.

[26.8 x 6.3 x 1"] I use this with my Sony FX7 camera which is 3 chip HD. I don't shoot subjects more that 15 feet away and so far it hasn't failed me. I like the fact that it uses the same Info-lithium batteries I have on hand for video cameras. I must commend B&H for always having items I need well stocked and very fast shipping times after the order is submitted. I have been using them for years and have never once been disappointed.
