The Light Widow CineTag Display is an app-controlled display for filter and camera tags that attaches to a matte box or camera with hook-and-loop strips, while the e-paper screen is updated via the Light Widow app. This white model offers users unlimited options for filter and camera tags, which can be selected from preexisting lists or fully customized. Additionally, filter names can be saved directly to the CineTag's memory, allowing users to quickly cycle through tags using onboard buttons without needing the app during a shoot.

Users can update multiple CineTags simultaneously when these are paired together, enabling your director of photography and other crew members to have synced tags and ensuring they are always up to date with the AC's master tag. CineTags can also pair with the Light Widow FRS-Light and the ARRI LMB FRS module. The wireless range between CineTags varies, giving you up to 100' with a clear line of sight and 30 to 50' without. Each CineTag logs filter changes with a timestamp based on the current date and time, and future firmware updates will add timecode support. The displays connect to the app via Bluetooth LE and offer a battery life of up to three weeks. They are also lightweight, weighing only a few ounces.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with Nikon D7100 or should I get the pro style?

A: I use it with a Fuji X-T1 and it works very well. I assume it would be fine with a D7100.

Q: 2. Would this hold a Nikon D750 with a 70-200mm zoom?

A: Yes, The holster is certainly sturdy enough. Only the length of the lens on might be cumbersome.

Q: 3. What is the maximum width belt the Black Widow will fit?

A: The opening is exactly 2 inches. The belt should be just less than this, although 2 inches might work.

Q: 4. Do,you get two pins to attach to two separate cameras to interchange on your belt?

A: No! Only 1 pin was delivered!

Q: 5. Will this hold for a 5d mk II or IV?

A: I've got a 5d ii and, with a leather belt, the black widow supports it just fine. Be aware that the Canon is bulky on the hip however. I bought the holster because I'll be going mirrorless soon, which is much smaller, of course. But as far as safely supporting the weight, I've had no problems with the 5d ii.

Q: 6. Hi,what is the largest belt size I can use?

A: The Black Widow belt can be extended up to 48 . The other option you have if you need a larger belt size is to just get the holster without the belt and attach the piece to your own belt.

Q: 7. Will this work with a Sony NEX-3? If not, are there any similar products you can recommend?

A: The Black Widow Holster Kit is compatible with the NEX-3. It can be used with any small to medium size camera (up to 4lbs) that has a tripod socket.

Q: 8. Would this work with the Nikon D5000? Should I look at the pro for my camera? I already have a waist pack that holds my water bottle, too-big iPhone and the dog lead for my malamute, so I'm looking to add to the belt/bag set up that I already wear.

A: I use this with my Sony alpha A350 which is about the same weight as the D5000. This product should work fine for you.

Q: 9. hello does anyone know how much weight it will hold?. regardless of the camera. using a very thick belt. how much will hold?. thanks!!

A: My 100D plus a 17-85 comes out to 2 pounds. The black widow is sturdy enough that you'll probably experience discomfort before it reaches it's limit. I'd probably not go over 3 and a half pounds.

Q: 10. Will this fit on a Think Tank Photo Pro Speed Belt V3.0 (27-34" Waist, Black)? I have read that the Spider belts are too big for women. Camera: Sony RX10 IV.

A: No, I don't think so. The opening to pass the belt through is barely 2" wide and is made for a regular belt, like for jeans etc. Also, the Think Tank belt appears to be too thick to pass through the holster.

[0.12 lb] I got this so that I could use my Aputure set up for headshots. Constant lighting is amazing fir headshots. But using lightdomes makes it harder to get the light source close enough. But because the light box 30120 is a large rectangle I can get it way closer to the subject.

The only hard part is getting it apart the first time. Putting it together you attach the rods in the fabric material first and then put the rods. Into the center ring. But trying to do that reverse order to take it apart is VERY difficult. I found that laying it on the metal ring on the ground and then bending the rod and removing from the fabric end works best. There are very basic instructions on how to put it together. But not for taking it apart.

Also the materials for holding the inner diffusion are very weak. I can see the elastic bands breaking very easily at some point. Be very careful taking that inner diffusion off.

Overall though this is a GREAT product for a great price.

[21 Days] I own a Fuji X-t1, and used this Spider holster for it for a few years now. It's a great device and makes it so much easier while shooting weddings and events. I just bought the X-t3, so now I bought a second holster and will be using one on each side of my belt.

[0.12 lb] As a product tester for this system it has become a part of my everyday kit. I longer have to carry around a bag of filter tags or have to worry about loosing one of leaving it behind. This system is integrated into your filters and automatically reads the filter in the mattebox and display it on the cinetag. At the end of the day hand the cinetag off the to the dit and let them download the meta date from the day. You no longer have to question what was in the box just look it up. You can also daisy chain CineTags to display the info to other areas of the set, 1st AC, dit, script supervisor, slate and monitors.

[White] I expected something thin and flimsy and was pleasantly surprised by the build quality and all the extras you get. Not a Chimera quality but close enough to endure use over the years, imho. Yes, the fit is tight but this will relax over time. In addition to my Aputure lights, I'm also using them on my Profoto flash units. One minor critique - there are two levels of front panel diffusion but they are not labeled. I had to test them to see which was which. Irksome, yes, but for the inexpensive price all is forgiven! Way to go Aputure!! I will be buying more of you soft box offerings!!

[0.12 lb] I take my camera along with me when I go birding, so I already have binoculars on a chest harness. The Spider Camera holster works really well for me. I like that I can slide the camera holder and camera from my hip around towards my back, depending on where it feels most comfortable as I am walking. I also don't have a lot of strength in my arms and shoulders d/t a disability, so for others who might have a similar weakness; I find having the weight of the camera around my hip area much better.

[White] Sturdy holder allows for discreet carry of small and medium sized cameras. Works perfectly for me and my Ricoh GR. Never liked the idea of looking like a photographer out on the prowl.

[0.12 lb] I using that holster over a years, right now I bought another one.
The main idea is if you are long time in the field then you start filling the wait of your camera, but if you have Spider holster then doesn't matter.

[White] Does what it is supposed to do. I do wish that the diffusion fabric got tighter.
