With high magnification and wide objectives required by birders, hunters, and outdoor enthusiasts who work at long-ranges and in challenging conditions, the Opticron 10x50 Adventurer II WP Binoculars are designed to bring far-off subjects up close while providing extended performance in low light. Outfitted with BAK4 prisms that are phase-coated for color fidelity and fully multicoated optics, they deliver high-contrast views that are bright and clear. Their long eye relief and wide exit pupil boost the comfort level during extended observation sessions and reduces eye fatigue — especially at dawn and dusk or when peering into dense brush or under a heavy wooded canopy.

The aluminum and polycarbonate body makes them strong and durable, and they are designed with a neutral weight distribution to ensure the center of gravity sits naturally in your hand to help prevent arm fatigue. Protective rubber armor and raised palm pads provide a slip-resistant grip, while the large textured focus wheel makes them easy to use, especially in cold and wet weather, or when wearing gloves. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to make them waterproof and to prevent internal fogging when moving through extreme temperature and environmental conditions. Tethered objective lens caps and a one-piece ocular rainguard ensure they are close at hand when needed and allow for fast deployment in the field.

[9.8' / 3 m] Many reviews to read from on Amazon.com as well. Bhphoto had the better price even after exchange for us living in Canada. I already own a 500$ pair of 10x50 roof for stargazing and a 8x42 monocular. For me this was the perfect do all. The stability is so good that i can actually see more then some 8x42 and cheaper 10x42 binoculars I've tried. The wide field of view is appreciated in dense trees and the min viewing distance is still very low for a porro prism. Read other reviews as they can get really into depth about the lens characteristics. It's not roof flat and is very 3D like. Image is soft around the edges but nothing distracting and perhaps what gives this a better experience when you focused on something specific. This is a unique instrument and I don't see myself ever getting rid of it. Although it's not nitrogen purged, I reached out to Opticron and they actually put one in the freezer to see how it would defrost at room temp. I haven't used it in the rain just yet. One day I want to get the Kawa 6.5x32 to compare to this. All the best .

[-2 to +2] Delivery by B&H was very prompt. this pair of Opticrons's is the fifth pair i've bought.......have gifted three of them to birder family members. for the money i don't know what you'd buy that would give a better view. they gather light quite well like all inexpensive binoculars they are a little soft at the edges, but most of us concentrate on the middle view and it is tack sharp at the center. these are ideal for birders. and i've enjoyed taking them outside at night to view the sweet spots in the Milky Way. you cannot go wrong buying these at the price B&H offers.

[-2 to +2] I photograph with a Pentax camera. I really like their optics. This set of binoculars did not disappoint . The view is very bright and clear. They are fairly light to carry. At 10 power you can still hold them steady. I use them primarily for whale watching. Very happy with this purchase.

[-2 to +2] Picked these out of the few at this size. Very nice glasses, compare very well to my others. Clarity and depth of field very good, very wide field of view. Makes a great walking glass , I don't leave home without them. If you need something that can be held steady these will work. They were collimated properly and the case has a belt loop . Very lightweight

[-2 to +2] Super clear with enough magnification for a variety of uses.
Rubberized coating with convenient front and back caps ensures superb protection. A padded zipper case and strap complete the package.
A great price for excellent optics and convenience.

[10x] These are very useful and really good for the price. They have a nice wide view and a good depth of field. The compact shape means that the binocular' weight is close to your face, which with the lower magnification makes for an image that's easy to keep steady. The eyecups are nice for rubber; at first I thought twist-out would be a big improvement but as is, it's quick and easy to bring them to eye. They fit big and smal IPDs and are ready to pass betwee users.
I thought about rating them at 4 stars since comparison with models 3X-10X in cost shows expected superior optics, but optics on these are nice and judged on their own terms, I think they hit as much as can be expected, so I guess that's a 5.

[10x] These binocs completely live up to the manufacturer's description, and are an excellent value for the money. I can actually use them comfortably with glasses on (a first for me). They are so light I will just leave them in my bag ready for every walk.

[10x] So happy with these binoculars. And they shipped the same day as I ordered; where is in 2 days. I am considering giving these to family members as gifts as they are very affordable and great quality.

[5 mm] Easy to take out at a moment's notice to stargaze under urban/suburban light pollution as a person who wears glasses. I have used them handheld and was quickly able to see double stars and star clusters in the summer sky. Saw epsilon lyrae as two stars, but couldn't resolve into the quad.

I love that the lens covers on both the front and back sides are attached to the binoculars or to the basic neck strap. Makes taking them out for short viewing windows hassle-free. I don't need to worry about where I set them down and finding them again in the dark. Since getting these binoculars I've gone out onto my porch, even in not the best of conditions, just to see what I can spot. It has made stargazing fun and accessible again.

Highly recommend for someone looking for a decent pair of beginner stargazing binoculars.

[-2 to +2] Binoculars work great. The focus is wonderful and the distance is surprisingly clear. I was not expecting these to be as good as they are, especially for the price.
