[Yes] This product was selected after extensive internet research. Living in New Zealand I had no chance to see anything prior to purchase and had to rely on the Internet to sort out something which was good quality and functional. Well, I am an engineer and this product is extremely substantial and has a feel of almost over engineering- very solid very substantial. It appears to be the best value for money out there and I am a very happy bunny! I have had several email chats with the company prior to purchase and they are immediate with their responses and extremely helpful. The software does what it should, is simple and yet powerful. I thoroughly recommend this company and this product. I can see no real advantage in paying more for a teleprompter, as this one does everything you want a teleprompter to do.

[7.55 lb] I have been a DP for 20 years and have tried many different teleprompters on the market. This prompter Ive found to be rugged, fits every camera I own, and best part it is made of metal. Too many plastic products break all the time when used. I bought this because I know it will take my travels around the country and also the drops of the baggage people in the airlines. The adjustable scissors mount allows me to use my F55, HPX 3000, FS5, or even my DSLR.

[Aluminum] I love how slim and light weight it is. It makes it more portable. With all the other equipment, things can get heavy so portability is a plus. Have not had any problems with it. It has HDMI and VGA connections. It has a button that can flip the image (or words). I use it as a teleprompter monitor. Seems very high quality at a very affordable price!

[7.55 lb] I use this in a small studio to film instructors / experts for teaching online courses. It's perfect for the job. Sets up easily, and there's zero glare or reflection. The video quality comes out perfect. Basically, other than the talent reading the script, we don't even notice that it's there. The ZaPrompt software is great too. Simple to use and very effective for scrolling scripts. I also often just put power point or keynote on the teleprompter when a full script isn't required. Simply put - it works and I have had no issues after months of use.

[1024 x 768] I have been using this product for more than 9 months now and it works great. I produce a number of corporate videos each month, I needed something that was high quality, that worked right everytime. Corporate executive's time is very valuable, the last thing I needed was a prompter to not perform. There are enough other things to worry about on set or in studio, the prompter shouldn't be one of them. This product does just that. The software that comes with it works. It won't win any awards for being pretty or eye catching but it gets the job done. I would by this product again.

[Yes] I live in New Zealand and purchased this model after internet research and speaking to various companies direct including Edward at Telmax. I am an engineer and was most impressed with the build quality of the sub frame - it is solid, rigid and quite substantial. The ZAPrompt software is deceptively simple and offers a comprehensive range of controls over mirroring, fonts and colors, scroll speeds and margin adjustments on the fly- excellent performance. This model is astonishing value for money and the Telmax company are an absolute pleasure to deal with. My endless questions were always answered immediately and courteously- they fully value and understand customer service. If you are in the market for a budget teleprompter, this model is hard to beat.

[7.55 lb] The flex plus high bright model we got has side inputs in the monitor so attaching the HDMI and SDI cables was easy, not sure how anyone would have issues with this.
Love the folding hood and removable back sled. We can swap it from a regular teleprompter to a freestanding teleprompter.
For the price it's well worth it, the only complaint I have is the software is a bit dated, but at least the software as included for free.

[Aluminum] This is a simple, sturdy unit that has a really nice feature in that the prompter and camera mount are combined into a single unit making balancing very easy. The built-in height adjustment for the camera is terrifica as well, easily accomodating a smallish video camera as well as larger rigs with baseplates, rods, etc.. Fair warning, the entire unit is very bulky and you'll need a long case to carry it assembled, or something like a Pelican 1620 if you carry it broken down. Also, I didn't see a good way to protect the mirror other than inserting a piece of foam between the mirror and iPad tray during travel. Not a deal breaker, but moderately annoying. Function is excellent - talent likes it and it is far easier, safer and more professional than trying to jerry-rig something.
