The tan PSM1 Omni Headset Microphone for Audio-Technica Transmittersis designed to deliver clear speech and vocals for presenters and performers in a low-profile form factor. A: Below are the two items I use with my AT8415 mic. Hope this helps...Audio-Technica AT8469 Camera Shoe MountThis adapter should work with just about any mic mount you throw at it.Rycote 041118 INVISION INV-7 HG mkIII shockmountNot cheap, but worth it. Very sturdy, no handling noise, and easy to place mic in and take out.

A: I'm not sure that it will because the MXL-BCD-1 doesn't have a threaded end where the XLR cable plugs in. The way the mic is held into this mount is using a threaded washer. If you look at the Rode Procaster Mic (ROPROCASTER), you can see how there is a treaded washer at the end where you would mount into the shockmount. The BCD-1 has that additional bracket that almost replaces the need for a shockmount. Not sure this is the right product for the mic you have.

[Plug-In Power] I teach aerobics and use this mic in class. The last one I had lasted 8 years and would have lasted longer had it not been accidentally left on a cabinet and a heavy object thrown on top of it. grrr I am hoping this new one lasts as long or longer. I have tried other headsets and nothing sounds as good and is as comfortable as the countryman. You will get cracking sounds from moisture (hey, it's Jazzercise and heck yes I SWEAT!), but I have found that working to position the mic down and away from you mouth and cheeks help. This mic will pick up the sound just fine and it does not need to be right up against you mouth to do so. Yes it is more expensive than other aerobic mic alternatives, but it will last at least twice as long and sound so much better. 5

[Tan] Excellent for podcasts (albeit a little heavy), with the audio response optimized for the voice range. A professional quality headset used by many media organizations. Be aware the cord is extremely long. 5

[Plug-In Power] With a hearing on the left and a cochlear implant on the right and add glasses I can still wear comfortable the headset. The voice pick up is always the same. It works! 5

[Omnidirectional] We have had an older version of this headset for a long time. So when looking for a new one we wanted to go with a Countryman again. Straight out of the box this sounded just as we expected. If you are in need of a pro headset for a singer type...they are bulletproof. 5

[Tan] I have no complaints this is a very solid microphone it actually our second one we pretty much abused the first one it still works just fine. It went through alot of rough road handling though and our pastor that uses it wanted the peace of mind of a backup so here we are. 5

[Plug-In Power] Well worth the price for all day (8-10 hours) of comfort while teaching remote classes via Zoom. These also provide better audio quality for my voice which is important for my work. If quality and comfort, at an affordable price is what you are looking for, then you have found the right headset. 5
